    Hey Jesse
Heading North on Tuesday the 5 and then south on the 20, the compression tester is back in my hands and I was wondering if you wanted to borrow it this month. Will be back in Edmonton on the 29 to 31 for a volleyball tournament but not sure how much "free" time I'll have then.

I live about 2 hours from you - Interested in meeting up at some point? I may be back living in Regina shortly; would love to take a look at your FI build

Yes, it is directly related to the VTA. When the BOV goes off, all the air escapes and suffocates the engine. It doesnt do it in the lower rpms because the SSQV doesnt allow all the air to escape during normal driving, you will notice that it makes 2 different noises when the valve goes off. Thats why you can run it VTA and not have the problems of a traditional BOV. It makes more of a shutter noise when your driving normal and low rpms, and more of a whistle when your in boost. Very cool valve in my opinion.

Hey man, ya, I would go with the SSQV. Very rarely does it back fire. If it does, its usually while sitting in traffic and it starts to load up. Ive never had a turbo car before, always had superchargers, but to me, it doesnt feel like its lagging at all. I shift, it goes off, and back on the throttle and hauling ass! The only thing that you need to learn to deal with is say you are revving high, and put your foot on the clutch and just hold it in, the car will stall. It doesnt do it for low speed decels though. Youll learn to catch it with the gas pedal when you get it up and running. Let me know if you need anything else!
