why is the mazdaspeed CAI look like not original? pic error? isnt the oil filter suppose to be grayish and have mazdaspeed on the pipe? or em i just being stupid?...sorry i like the price and want one but its a lil spefi with the pic

When I bought this intake from the dealer, the picture looked just like this. It was , as is commonly used, a publicity shot and the actual intake is different. Let's not over think this people.

Everyone is right. Just a standard picture that Mazda has gave the Mazda dealers. We at Med Center Mazda take pride in selling only Factory Genuine Mazda Parts and Accessories. I like it this way because if you have a problem with a Mazda product we just send you a new one and Mazda stands behind the warranty.

I've had some problems with the MS CAI.. It was installed by my dealership as part of a free bundle, and with it installed it was studdering above 4000 rpm with low throttle. WOT it would blow right through the rpm range but, with small throttle it would hesitate.. Also caused CEL's for months.. I saw a thread about screens being installed incorrectly, but when I took mine out it looked great, any ideas?

and put them back in clean your MAF if its dirty..
mine was doing the same thing until i re inspected the screens.. and re set the ecu
