Scott - Some questions
I know you have speaking to Dave at KDR after he replaced my engine last week. For some reason, everything seems as was before with the interceptor except my car is stalling at idle and and when I stop. This was not happening before I blew my engine at the end of May.
When I go into the interceptor program it seems like I can't go to the oringinal programs - I see a screen that says that all the programs are the same ?
I will be bringing my car back to Dave this Saturday for tuning and I want to know if you will be available for questions ?
How do I get the original program back on screeen or programmed ? I know you have been moving your shop, but I would appreciate some discussion with you so I could fix problem.
Thanks
Dennis

I have the flooding "upgrade" - battery, plugs and starter. I only starting having problems after my engine was replaced. I am planning on getting the new flash on Wednesday.

Mainly the MOP output under load. (the Int-X doesn't control the MOP, does it?)
It also changes the phasing of the A/C compressor and lowers the sensitivity of the O2 program at cruise (they have changed the CAT save strategy) which may alleviate the CEL annoyance for those with the Int-X.
I am on the EMU, so it works great for me in the above mentioned areas plus the better fuel delivery (they changed the transition into the secondaries).

I spent all day Saturday with Dave at KDR in PA. He is very dedicated and is a great rotary guy. I had reloaded the original maps, but the car was running very lean - Dave had to richen up the load profile and some pump 1 adjustments before the car would run in turbo safely. Also the car does not start smooth at all when cold. It starts very very lean and if I do not hold the gas peddle down for about 15-20 seconds it will die. Once going the car seems to be ok. What could I do to help the starting ? Why is the map adjustments so different now that I have a reman engine in compared to stock settings on the inter. when installed initially ?

How much vac. is the load screen showing at idle? Does the load gauge react quickly when you "blip" the throttle? Scott

I am pulling about -20 hg vacuum at idle. Although my gauge is reading 16-18 hg.
The gauge does react when I blip the throttle.
It is very odd that the original maps loaded that worked great when I installed in the original motor are so so lean. I am using a modified that Dave loaded in 2 weeks ago.
The transition once I go into turbo is somewhat slow going from lean to rich at WOT. I believe this may be due to the necessity to change my wastegate due to damage with another Mitsubishi turbo wastegate by Dave. I just ordered the correct wastegate - what a nightmare - Greddy does not stock any of these and I have to special order from Japan for $200 + shipping - and wait for 4-6 weeks.
What is the best way to adjust for the bogging when I take my food off the throttle and remain in gear - it "pushes" back on and off.
I also had to modify the cold crank fuel % from 10 % to 25% - at that % the a/f reading is 14.6 at start up. Before the high adjustment - the a/f would not move off 16-17 and the car would sound like **** and stall.
I know I am asking a lot of questions, but you have been busy moving and I have not been able to get you.
Thanks
