Interceptor WBO2

While at the dyno today I checked Scott's wideband O2 sensor for the Interceptor against the dyno O2 sensor. Just thought I'd let everyone know it was dead on. Very little variance, and the small variance that was there 0.1-0.2 tops, was probably due to the different placement of the two sensors one being stuffed up the exhaust pipe the other installed right after the downpipe. Great job Scott!

Great news, thanks for confirming that!

How'd you do on the dyno, BTW?

Thanks for the feedback Ryan. Glad to here your results were just as they should be For those of you who have not tried this unit yet, it will give you the ability to datalog the AFR's and make changes to your tuning based on the exact data the Interceptor-X is using to make engine calculations! For example, the passenger can monitor the cruise AFR's and change them in real time to target the desired AFR for better highway economy. You can also find a safe place to do W.O.T. runs, start the build in data logger, do a run, stop review the data and make the required changes to hit your target AFR. If you dial in your AFR's before you get to the dyno you will save time and money on the dyno rental.

Pretty long. I have myne plugged in right after the downpipe. It goes to the front of my Interceptor with about 4ft of cable left over that I had to coil up.

Is there a safety feature possible that say if the AFR gets to lean you can have the interceptor do something ( cut timing or add fuel ) or is it bacisally for logging only?

It currently is for real time monitoring or data logging only.

is there anyway to connect it to a lambda or AFR gauge? I like the idea of keeping and eye on it, but I think I'd put a hurtin on a laptop with those crazy acceleration g's I can do now

I was wondering the same thing... anyway to have the output go to a gage as well? Or should I just install a carputer and run it to the interceptor and display on my nav?

So, any way to connect it to an AFR gauge?
