or it's possible that a $1 piece of screen remedies it for you ... would you like me to mail you a piece to try?

There is a section in the options field that allows additional enrichment and the ignition timing to altered if the Interceptor-X detects the A/C is on and the T.P.S. is in the closed position. As soon as the T.P.S. opens 1% or greater it no longer references these fields. This works quite well for most people. TeamRX8, good point about the screen but, the Interceptor-X does not use the MAF for engine management calculations so the screen would not help. Scott

After tuning my idle is just fine. It stutters everyonce in a while... but nothing too bad.

Right now its running around...
11.9 AFR with A/C off
11.2 AFR with A/C on

Wonder why new sparkplugs smooths the idle for a lot of people. I know the plugs dont last much longer than 12-15K for the high rev demand. Is the spark inadequete at idle also?Is the a/f so rich it is fouling or influencing the spark?
Maybe it is a combo problem of the a/f's AND spark
Maybe I just have a psychic connection with the engine and I am mentally broadcasting my memories of riding around with high lift cam's!

Just out of curiosity, what RPM should the engine be idling at typically?

Mine idles at just under a thousand, and sometime dips closer to 750 where is shudders for a bit before picking up again. (Particularly when I have a A/C set at 3 or 4)

Is this normal, or should I have it check out? I have only 1800 miles on my car.
