I am running 15.5 Psi on Interceptor, no ping...

Hey guys, just to let you know I have been putting my boost up and up. Yesterday I touched 15.5 PSI at peak and then it drops back a bit. The car launches great and no pinging at all. I use 94 octane fuel and retarded the timing a couple of degrees more from the original setup on interceptor. I will post a video soon.
I raced an M3 last night, lol he was so slow compared to my car....

The only drawback is that I only make 180 miles/tank, that sucks and hurts the wallet. LOL
P.S. Going to dyno on coming weekend (weather permiting)

15.5psi? My goodness! Trying to milk it for all its got eh? I haven't let the tank to to the point where the gas light comes on yet, but I'm taking a road trip this weekend, so we'll see.

15.5 did you say 15.5? Yep I read it again it says 15.5. My little birdie said 13 was OEM OK, but he also said 25 was the upper limit before the seals blew.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL!!! I'm Glad to hear your having fun but the car still is not dyno tuned. I imagine the midrange torque of 15.5 psi and the cold Canada air is an absolute blast. Curious, is the traction control light flashing in third gear or just first and second?LOL Scott

Yeah, I'd like to see a dyno still. I'm staying put at 10-11psi with the Greddy turbo.

As long as when we do hear from him, its not complaining about how the interceptor or turbo ruined his car. I'd rather hear more testimonies from people who have had good luck, instead of just those with bad luck. 15.5psi is way past what I'd be comfortable with, but I wish him all the luck in the world. Lets see the dyno pulls!

Sorry mates, been in Venezuela for almost a month. I came back yesterday and found my battery is dead. Replaced it this afternoon but the car does not want to start. Could it be flooded engine??? It does not smell like fuel or anything but it just crank and does not start.
The car is running great peaking at 15 psi, however I found it a lost of resources since I do not have traction at all at lower gears. I put it down a bit to make better launches. However in 3rd gear there is nothing like 15 psi.

If I get my car running I will try to take it to the dyno this week.

Sorry for the dissapearing scene.

with 15+ psi that top speed in your avatar doesn't seem so far fetched anymore...

what do you think the cars 0-60 and 1/4 times are? what about top speed? it is awesome to see a rx-8 with power like that.

when will you dyno it?

Chavez??? An idiot... LOL. De donde eres??? Yo vivo en Canada

Hey I started my car!!! It was a fuse LOL. It is running great. I did 5.2 from 0-60 mph and 13.6 1/4 mile before the interceptor. I think the car is able to do 4.8 and 13.2 with the interceptor. THe only thing is that I am losing all my traction in lower gears. I just ordered a set of Bridgestone Potenza S-01 Pole Position. WHen I install them I will let you guys know what it is able to do. I will try to dyno soon, I am just waiting for the 02 sensor from Mazsport. My hope is that I will be on dyno early next week.
Hey dude from calgary, as soon as the roads clear gimme a call so we can go for a ride.

My car is peaking at 15 psi (1.1 Bar) not holding it constant. It holds about 0.85 bar after the peak (around 12.5-13 psi)

Will try to post that video soon. Anybody knows how to post it??? Thanks

What size tires did you order? You can post videos for free at streetfire.net
Those times you posted were with a g-tech, correct?
