Dyno tune
What's really odd is what I suspect the culprit is for melting my coils. Are you ready for this, my stereo. I have no idea how but here's why. I rarely play my stereo turned up with the car off. About a month ago I had it cranked pretty loud without the car running and I smelled an awful electrical burning smell after about 3 min of playing. I turned everything off and tried to find it but couldn't. Everything seemed to work okay so I let it go. Well yesterday right before I tried to start my car (right before it would't start) I had the stereo on again without the car on and again I smelled the burning smell, but again couldn't figure out where it was coming from. I think I fried one coil a month ago and the other one yesterday.
But playing the stereo full blast with the car turned on is never a problem.
I know an installer or mechanic recently posted on here he found an odd situation where to many aftermarket electronics caused the car to not run right. Well I think this is another instance of that. There is something funny with the electrical system of this car.
