Having taken my steering wheel off and redoing it, I believe this would take under an hour as well.

Spending 28 hours total to recover my steering wheel in suede myself, I would not dare do the same again. I can see someone EASILY charging AT LEAST $300 to just recover the steering wheel. $425 shipped is an awesome deal.

Yeah I looked at having mine redone by a reputable company with experience and it is close to $400.00.

Not on our site as yet. We are working on an all new site soon. We are the 'Official Disrtibutor' of AutoExe in the US, so sending the paypal with good description of what you have and what you want is best.

Paul

Hmm, doubtful. I will check. I just sent some questions and now I am going home so I will ask tomorrow.

The wiring will be off it will attach to the hub though. I cannot confirm that the airbag wiring is the same.

That's the semi important part :/

Side note, can you also get the piano black covers for the cruise and radio buttons?

Thanks, Shady. That is what I was afraid of. I think S2 looks awesome. I will save my other questions for your DIY thread

looks like a great idea and a good quality product. I recently bought an s2 steering wheel for my s1 cheap but had no airbag instead of buying an airbag for it I might just buy this.

thanks Paul

I know its a long shot, but any chance you can ask if they can do a black/red leather wheel (perforated leather sections would be red leather)?

the red on my stock wheel if wearing off and looks disgusting and I love the shape of this wheel but would like to retain the color combo.

If you browse their site, there is a wrap they sell that retains the black/red color combo. You might want to ask about somehow combining that wrap with the wheel/frame here.

I might be interested in this if there's one without the red stitching, as my RX-8 has no other red stitch work inside.

Neither does mine... It doesn't really clash though, the wheels feels simply amazing.

I'm also really interested to see how it goes with your interior. I love the look of this wheel, but my shift boot and parking brake boot both have blue stitching.

EDIT: Sorry, I somehow missed the interior pic on the previous page. Looking forward to the DIY!
