Here are the AutoExe bars that I sell. That price is for front and rear.

615 for both sounds fair. if you split that in half, thats not much higher than the ebay special olympics setups

That's too funny! Paul. |
I know this is off topic, but I didn't feel like starting a thread for one question.
Paul, how much are the AutoExe headers and do you know of anyone that has it installed with dyno figures?? |

Wow. Is a good bit of the price due to being shipped overseas??

Nope, In Japan it sells for 138,000 yen. The shipping and duty is ugly though in terms of what I pay, making it rather un-profitable but I'm here to serve. It's expensive but not the most expensive of the Japanese and it's gorgeous. Paul. |
Thanks for the info. I may install a header eventually, but the results i've read about so far seem to be a mixed bag.
Do you have any info on performance gains, if any? |
I believe in telling the truth throughout life: I know nothing about the potential gains of this header. I've heard of headers on racing RX8s making increases that weren't seen on the street due to other tuning factors. The exhaust components I've gotten from AutoExe are some of the prettiest I've ever seen with really beautiful welds.

Hey Paul, quick question reguarding those front and rear strut bars from Autoexe. Why is it the front strut bar design is..well..like it is, as opposed to ..lets say the 4 point R3 or that Mazdaspeed 4 point. Just curious to understand why their 4 point is at another part of the car.

Wish I knew (Again I won't profess expertise outside of my areas of study), I guess there's more than one way to skin a cat :) . Paul. |

Autoexe did it this way because B-pillar is missing, Mazda did a great job on making a body this good without the B-pillar, but its still missing. 4 point strut is there to transfer force around, stiffen up the handling, the under brace to make the body even stronger, and they got the rear strut idea from Le Mans race. and yes, Paul is right, there is more than one way to skin a cat, Since Mazdaspeed has almost the same thing as Autoexe. the R3 Strut bar looks almost the same as Mazdaspeed Japan's 4 point front strut (R3's bar is not as strong as Mazdaspeed Japan one, close enough, different way to build it, but almost same mounting points) |
So then that raises the question...What would YOU buy? :P
|
I went the Autoexe way. I should've gone the Mazdaspeed way cuz no one seems to have it :P
oh well, Paul gave me the best service so ... no complains here :) |

probably won't fit without some nice amounts of cutting, but if you have the autoexe you gotta show it off. haha
|
Yes it will fit. There was a guy on here who had a carbon fiber engine cover and trimmed the edges to fit the 4-point strut tower bar. The fitment looked pretty good.
