2009 Mazda RX-8 R3 4-point Sturt Bar/Tower Brace

I heard that you guys can get stuff from the 2009 8's so here I am...

I am looking for an R3 4-point Strut Brace (the one in the engine bay).
My only question; will it fit the 04-08 RX-8s?
Price? If it's cheaper than the Name Brands out there then I'll definitely buy one from you guys.

No pricing available as yet. This may take a few days to a week.

You'll need a new engine cover with that too (provided you want to have an engine cover at all).

IT will probably cost a few hundred bux. consider OE parts are always expensive.

Or people can just wait till someone rear end some R3 Rx-8 so Paul can sell ya the front strut .

I wonder if it'll bolt right on, if not, I don't mind modifying it a bit to make it fit.

I don't need an engine cover, I'm currently running without one.

so you'll need the 4pt brace and the bracket that comes out from the firewall, right?

I'm sure we'll find out soon if it can be retro fit.

woo

will this be a b-stock legal swap?

the thought had crossed my mind as well a while back.

My thoughts exactly, I don't mind modifying it to fit. It's the cost that I'm wondering about to see if it's even worth it.

I don't believe it will be a "bolt-on" affair do the how the rear connects to the firewall. Notice is uses 2 studs per side and the current RX-8's only have one stud per side for the firewall plastic clips. My guess is it may slide over the single stud, but at worst you would have to drill a new hole in your STB.

Someone needs to tell me when Mazmart gets a set of the R3 seats. I'm going to get some popcorn and watch that bidding war unfold! I might even participate myself.

It will definitely fit the older cars. I'm not sure about the rear section's mounting but that shouldn't pose too big of an issue for the sharp folks we have in the RX8 community.

It would be nice if I could sell those for $500 but they're $615 from me which is the cheapest in the US.
