Only very rarely to be found, almost always used and if then at relatively high prices from € 2,000 to over € 3,000......($ 2.200,- to over $ 3.300,- )
This SINN 303 RX-8 chronograph was only produced in a limited edition......up to 888 pieces with a red second hand......the rest with a yellow second hand.
I bought it in Germany in 2012 from Pietzner Chronometrie in Munich, having only bought an RX-8 HP in 2009.
However, I never wore this watch because I preferred to have my Rolex on my wrist.
I am going to sell my RX-8 HP soon (have 3 cars plus motorbike; will be too much for me) and therefore I am already offering this watch for sale.
This watch is absolutely new / unworn.....!

The first 888 buyers of the RX-8 sports car received this watch as a limited special model with a red print on the stop hand and the second hand in the form of a rotary piston.
The same model with yellow hands is also available in limited form. It comes as a complete set in the same piano lacquered wooden box. A chronograph in the finest stainless steel quality that makes you think of Wankel technology literally every second of the day. At the same time, it represents a timepiece of the highest practicality. The reliable Swiss ETA 7750 movement is enclosed between two elaborately ground sapphire glasses, making it absolutely waterproof. In addition to the time and the stop times of the chronograph, the day of the week and the date are also easy to read. The rotating tachymeter scale is used to determine average speeds. That's really cool. It'll need a (chronograph) service since it's been sitting around so long, but that would be a great opportunity to get an English date wheel installed (actually, a 7750 might just be replaced, and the date wheel would be a done deal). Both Sinn and the 7750 are legit. I've actually looked for rotary themed watches in the past, but only ever found toys. On a different day or at a different dollar amount, I'd be all over this!

Date wheel:...My personal point of view; it is manufactured in Germany so I would prefer the date wheel in the German language.....it remains absolute original and the confusion is minimal.
And about price.....those ETA 7750 movements are top of the bill......ETA was the previous supplier for Rolex as for their famous Daytona model........ETA movements keep /raise their value in time...

The first 888 were produced with red hands and given to the first purchasers of the RX8.
