For sale is my DIY, home depot racing DSP rear spoiler / trunk lid setup. It is not built to the limit of the rules but generated meaningful downforce at competition speeds. It is 1/2" Baltic birch hardwood plywood with custom stainless steel hinges, risers, and turn-buckles. It is adjustable from virtually flat to around 60* angle. It is not beautiful... but it is effective. The added downforce helped me go from 92-93MPH without spoiler to 98-99MPH with spoiler at VIR's T10 (South Bend).
You could also take this setup and use Lexan or build it out to the limits of street prepared rules, if you desired. i used the baltic birch because it's strong, has a high strength to weight ratio, and it was leftover from my splitter. it took quite a bit of time to fab it up such that the mechanics worked correctly.
Local pick-up near 22310, Springfield VA.
