Gushing interest 04 sixspeed
04 6 speed titanium gray metallic sport model. 8x,xxx miles. Everything runs and shifts perfectly.
The good
-axial flow shifter
-rb dual res midpipe
-double din pioneer DVD/cd/mp3 with iPod hookup in the glove box
-custom single twelve sub enclosure. This looks factory it's so clean. The sub is out of it but I'll throw in a Brutus hifonics 1610d amp that's 1600rms
-newish slotted rotors with racing brake brake pads
-comes with tein flex coilovers and RE Amemiya twin dolphin exhaust not on the car.
-oil checked religiously
-DVD is wired to a switch
-optima yellow top
-a **** ton of underbracing, as well as front and rear tower bars
-led ambient lighting wired in with the courteousy lights
The bad
- needs a clutch pedal fix (not broken but it's squeaking)
- few scratches and scrapes nothing too too bad but you'll notice them.
-the FM radio doesn't work. I never bothered hookingit up because I hate FM. Always just used my iPod/iPhone
- the silver parts are scratched like normal.
-blown rear shocks. It's still drivable, it just bounces everywhere. I haven't installed the coilovers, because there is no where here to get them corner balanced and I didn't want someone to have to drive with the suspension geometry off.
Other than that, i can't think of anything pertinent. It's a great car. Never given me any problems. I just need a REAL four door. And I've been money into this instead of my FD. make offers but know I'm trying to get 12-13k which is not at all unreasonable for an rx8 with this kind of parts.
- slight wear in the driver seat

If you get that money, i'll be astonished. Had mine for sale for 6 months with Custom CarPC, Leather Interior, Magnaflow exhaust, and replica mazdaspeed kit and could only get $8600. Granted I could have held out for more probably, so don't short change yourself. This is more for your information than anyone else's.
I had to sell quickly b/c I was paying 3 car payments and couldn't afford to hold out.

True but that cat back is rare as he'll. Along with the two thousand dollar suspension. I actually bought this one BECAUSE it had cloth interior. And I like all the factory aero on this car. I'm not saying you're not right, but I've seem them go for a lot more

To get top dollar I would consider fixing the rear shock, and anything that would make it annoying to test drive. Squeaks would be at the top of the list. Most of us expect a few dings and scratches on an 04.
Good luck with the sale. I just picked up an 04 a few months ago.
