whats the best dealership to buy an 8 from in houston?

1935 lbs. FTW!
I called a few houston dealers and one of them was fairly close to the best price I could find out of 30+ dealers in TX. I ended up buying in San Antonio though, got about 10K off MSRP on my new 05 sport package.

You're probably going to want to do what cosmos did and call around. We are 4 hours from corpus, 3 hours from san antonio and austin and 4 hours from dallas. You're bound to find a dealer somewhere trying to get rid of an 8 off their lot. i think there is a mazda dealer on I-10 and the beltway, one on 290 and one on 1960 and 45 for sure. Hope its helps any. GL

Everyone's experiences differ but I have heard so many horror stories about Joe Myers.
I am sadly no help. Jeff Haas seems to be O.K. but I was a pre-orderer back in '03 and I paid full MSRP.
I have gotten most of my service done at Munday and they seem O.K.

I bought mine at Munday 10 days ago. The only service so far is the Mazda required after sale spark plug changes and inspection. They offer a free rental through an onsite agency. When I turned that down and just waited for the car they rushed it right through. So far everyone has been helpful.

In my opinion, the best delership to buy from is the one with the best price.
1) My advice is to get pre-approved for a loan... don't use the dealership's loan department.. just my advice. You can typically get a better rate on your own.
2) Check online, auto trader, every local dealership's website and make a bunch of calls to find the best deal.
Once you find the best deal, go in with your pre-approved financing, sign some papers and be done with it.
Or just pay cash.. that works too.

Agree with Flats. If I had a do-over i'd go used. Most 8 owners take good care of their car and you should know just by talking to them. Dealers are a complete rip-off and the 8 hasn't changed since it came out. You could save a lot of money.
