Ibfubar2000 says my car is in transit!!!!! I have to start watching Midlothian to see if I can catch it there.

 

I just got off the phone with Mazda, Midlothian TX.

The RX-8's from Port Hueneme will be shipped to Midlothian in "series", on about 4 trains. The trains will begin arriving next Friday (27th), will be "on the ground" by Monday (30th) but will be in Customs.

The Midlothian Rail Port is restricted, it's a foreign trade zone. The guy said I could not see the cars arrive or on the lot.

Bottom line, he said that we're about 2 weeks away from getting our RX-8's.

 

Those are some really slow trains. So close and yet so far. I went out to look at Midlothian this last Tuesday. The place is like a fortress. Could not see anything except Kias. I had called there yesterday but the manager was not in and did not return my call.
