So I still have yet to meet any other 8 owner's. I was wandering if any of you guy's would be willing to have a get together this or next weekend? We could all meet up a spot that we could all agree on and then hang out, go to dinner or just crusie. Either way I just want to make some new friends that have 8's.

 

I would love to get together some weekend outside of DFW, but neither this weekend nor next are good (and the one after that is Christmas), so... Would you been willing to meet somewhere between DFW and SA after the new year? Maybe if we plan enough ahead of time some of the regular DFW 8s can all meet up locally and drive there together. I think Austin is only an hour away or so (I could be wrong) so I'm thinking... What if we all met in Waco and then all drove together to Austin and did something cool there? This is me just thinking out loud... What do you think?

 

I think Waco would be about the best half way point. However the only thing I know to do there is see the Dr. Pepper museum. I doubt the DWF people would want to drive to Austin ( i would guess that 2 1/2 hours?). It also would be kinda unfair to expect DFW to drive to Austin and meet up w/SA people since the trip is so much shorter from SA. I would think that we could get a big group together comprised of SA, Austin and DFW so maybe its worth more thought. However if enough single (goodlooking) women would have a get together in the DFW area i might make that :D

 

I'll be in San Antonio on Monday and Tuesday.

Dazy, that doesnt sound like a bad idea but it would have to be after the first of the year. As for a late answer to the orignal question, this weekend is (was) bad but next weekend would work as long as its after 6pm. Mindtrip if you and rotarygod have a time planned i would try to make it. Unfortunately for me my 8 will be in the body shop this week.

 

I'll be out there tomorrow afternoon. I'm only going to be there one day. Coming back Tuesday afternoon.
