Really enjoyed the meet today. We will def have to do again! Hopfully get a few pics up soon of our first meet. After eveyone left there was another 8 that pulled up. They just bought it friday. A purple shinka model. The girl who bought it lives in BA there was a guy with her. I can't remember any names but he had said he signed up on the forum. I'm sure he will post here soon. I just bought my rx8 this Friday. It is an 05 shinka. I am new to RX8's and trying to learn as much about them as I can, so I don't end up killing it. I ran across extremevelocity and jennifer tonight and found out I had just missed a tulsa RX8 gathering. Is there any other gathering in tulsa coming up? BTW I LOVE my RX8!!!

I'm putting in alot of work hours to prepare for the Texas8 meet, but I'm up for something sooner. Then my ignition and clutch will be fixed, maybe we can find some nice curves to carve.

 

A monthly thing would be a pretty cool thing! I really enjoyed it. And I'm always up for grabbing some curves. Dnt knw where there are good ones. Got sum out here. But it would be a wasted trip for these.

What kind of lights are you wanting? As far as I know there are smoked tails and the 09 rx8s and up have the led lights. But I cld be wrong

 

I have never seen aftermarket tails for the 8. You cam smoke them tho.

 

Okay, so mazda threw me around! I had to take my car to carlos to get it fixed! I am very happy with what he did for me! He is awsone!! I'm so glad he fix my baby

 

Jim I just have to say. I love your car. Not sure what sets it off. But I really like and so much better in person!

yeah, I get to deal with the douche bags at Nelson tomorrow morning starting at 6:50am for my 30K check up....I'd go into details on the conversation, but we'll leave it at that we're dealing with amateurs there...anyone else know of Mazda "certified" shops to have maintenance and the like done?

When is the next meet? I saw some folks mentioning going up scenic 412, on the cycle it is an enjoyable ride and I'd be down...we should blow through the twisties around Tahlequah

 

havnt been thru there in a bit. But we can do it go down have lunch come back. I like the 82 N run because there is something like 40+ curves over the 14 miles and a few straight aways

 

Ah, have fun with them! The screwed me out of a factory warrenty so what ever.. But carlos in broken arrow fix my 8! So thankful and very pleased with his work.. If anyone is interested xtremevelocity and I n our friend with another 8 will be cruisen memorial this sat night is anyone would like to come...
