TEXAS Independence Day Run - March 1st 2008
Your invited to join the Houston Miata Club (and the RX-Club of Houston) for the Texas Independence Day Run up to Washington on the Brazos on March 1, 2008.
It's a nice drive and the park is open to all to celebrate Texan Heritage and hopefully we'll have good weather!

We will start from the Harris County Smokehouse at Hwy 290 and 1960.
**Driver's Meeting at 9:00 AM**
If you want to eat breakfast, come early- at 7:30 or 8:00AM.
Route Info
We will head West on 290.
Exit Hegar Road, Turn Right
Left at Joseph
Right on Field Store Rd
Left on 1488
Right on 362
Go through Whitehall
Left on 105
Intersection of Hwy 6
Continue, Right on Hwy 6 Business

Your welcome to make your way home at your own pace. I will be making a run down on the Anderson Loop/C.R.3090 if anyone wants to come home that way they are welcome to join me.

I am debating going on the trip, as far as your question about self servce car washes where exactly on the north side are you talking about? There is one around 23rd and Shepherd which is inside the loop on the north side.

FYI- As far as attendees for the drive, I will be there riding solo in my 91 RX-7 Coupe.
We have a couple of other RX-7 who said they were coming.
At least 6 Miata
A couple of Mazda 6 (plus the Subie')
A Mazdaspeed 3
Anyone else coming?
