Yesterday a gray protege off of coit, near 190, tried to race me as I was leaving Discount Tire. He had blacked out emblems (zoom zoom)... but I had to back down as i hit puberty many years ago... and no longer desire to street race. Hmmm... i should of just reved it, and let him hear the blow-off valve signal his impending defeat.

I don't get whats up with certain protege owners... this guy wasn't the first. They seem to have something to prove to the 8s. Like they're the uwanted child in the Mazda family.

sspotted a red 8 in downtown Austin on 5th street. had a longhorn emblem on it.

 

Spotted a grey heading south on I35 in austin about 4:30 this afternoon, passed on the left in the Blue rx8 then spotted a silver heading north on I 35 south of austin this evening about 8:30 you were going very quick as you blew by on my left.

 

I've seena few lately, the one that intrigued me the most was a blue on Mopac with a license plate that read "Katie"....how you doin' "Katie"?

There was also one that pulled up right next to me and then cut everyone off turning right onto Parmer from Riata, there's 2 lanes and 1 turns left and 1 is meant to go straight, homebitch just blew by everyone and then turned right, made me ashamed to be an 8 owner for a while oh well, probably has nothing to do with the car, as the stupid girl was on a phone and had no frickin' clue (like most Austin drivers)

 

I get the same thing... maybe it's because Mazda put them up for adoption.

 

Spotted a VR with the vanity plate "IPASS" parked at the Target off of Overton Ridge

 

I saw a ton of the @ town north mazda this morning! lol - Had to replace back tail light - seal cracked around the side and the only it was good for was a rain gauge - anyone else had this happen? just curious -

 

Still haven't been spotted. I agree about the stealth NG. Although I saw quite a few 8's waiting for service at Hiley Mazda in Arlington a couple of weekends ago on a Saturday morning. Couldn't get anyone in the waiting room to admit to owning one although I didn't stay long enough to find out. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. God Bless their service dept.

 

15 minutes ?!? holy crap! takes me 15 minutes just to get in the "queue" or whatever ;P

 

We all know that the NG's are pretty rare (only a few people can carry off the super stealth technology). So you can imagine my surprise when I found another one driving driving down the 121/114 merge. So I pulled up next to her and she noticed another car pacing her. She glances over, then does a double take when she realized she was looking at the same car. I grined, smiled and drove on.

So Miss NG, if you're on here, you've been spotted.

 

Spotted Ti Grey today around 2:45pm going south on 377 in Haltom City/Watauga. They turned into a car wash before I could wave. Shari and I were leaving Gotham's open house and we were a couple cars behind you.

Spotted a Winning Blue w/a chrome gas cap this past week. I'm not sure where or when, but I figure the gas cap would be enough of an identifying factor. We were going opposite directions and I waved but they didn't see me.

 

Spotted a VR today on Crowley Rd. Looked like Grand Touring, with a a middle aged male driver.

 

I got spotted yesterday by a friend of mine who was driving in the opposite direction. That was cool.

 

Hmmm someone spot me damit I'm in North Fort Worth (820 and N. Beach) :-p

Brilliant black GT package, can always be seen driving solo and blasting music with the widows and the roof back, beacuse I'm a loser with no friends. heh

 

Spotted a silver driving behind me this morning on River Park Dr. Female driver, AT I think.

Spotten Yellow this AM around 10 on northbound frontage road of Beltway near Hammerly.

I have seen a Blue 8 and a Grey a few times when I am exiting the beltway at hammerly on my way to work.

 

Spotted a VR 8 off of 77 in Waxahachie, but it was for sale. Anybody know who's it was? Also spotted a black 8 in downtown Dallas a few blocks away from Fuse on Thursday night.

I have a client up that way that I visit two days a week. I drive a Silver.

 

Spotted a black going north on Bryant Irvin near Vickery at 5:30pm or so. No spoiler, very clean, male driver.

 

I am up there for work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Usually around 7:15-7:45 is when I get in for work.
