I went 8 hunting today in one of our parking lots...

Saw another Blue 8 when driving out in the boonies the other day. Gave him a wave... got a "**** off" look back...
This is when i boosted out of there. I am sure he recognized my intake was louder than his blaring stereo... HAHAH.. sucka!!
Winning Blue Owners are not very friendly. I have not gotten 1 wave back yet. I do get waves from random people in the neighborhood though, and every child under the age of 10 i drive by... so thats cool.
Oh speaking of which. Do you ever notice when driving past a vehicle and see the kid in the back seats face glued to the window... staring at your 8. This is awesome. This reminds me when i was a kid and i used to stare at all the "cool" cars back then... NOW I HAVE THE CAR!!! hahaha, sweetness.

BigO. one thing I have noticed is that its now easier to pick out the females that are hunting for money(not sure why they think our cars are so expensive) - yes I know for some the price of our cars is but I go to TCU(I am one of the lucky few there that is paying for school on there own) so Im used to seeing a different breed.
For example I have had girls that didnt seem all that interested until they see what I drive.
Oh and today I spotted :
2 Sunlight Silvers (One at work - appearance package, and one on the road during lunch)
Shinka - at my apts
and a BB on the way to work on Hulen
I thinks that its..

Str8cold and I tagged a yellow 8 w/croatia flag hanging from the rearview mirror, a black 8 w/Denison dealer plate frame and a yellow 3rd gen w/rx7.com stickers on it -- all at HIN. We would have tagged more but we ran out of flyers.
GUESS WHAT?!?!
Jessie and I stopped at this deli/cafe down the street for lunch today and when we were leaving, I noticed a White 8 parked in the lot. I'm thinking, "Sweet! I'm going to tag it!" So I get a flyer out of my car and stick it on the windshield. I'm in my car, about to pull out and I see the driver reading the flyer as he enjoys his cold coffee beverage from Starbucks. I get out of my car, thinking that I should probably introduce myself since I'm here anyway.
I walk up to him and tell him that I put the flyer on his car and I point to mine saying, "That 8 is mine." I begin to tell him that there's a large local interest in the RX8 and that we get together for meets, play pool, drink beer, etc. and that I'm hosting this BBQ in September. He says to me, "Oh, well I own two Mazda dealerships." I freeze. I almost did that head shake thing from disbelief, like in the cartoons, and I ask which dealerships. He says Hiley. I'm thinking, oh my god. This is too good to be true. So I tell him that I sent a letter asking for their sponsorship, he asks which location and I said Hurst. He said he didn't have a business card on him but that he's Jason Hiley and he'll be in the office this week and to give him a call and we can talk. Can you believe this!!!

If a well-fit lady is into your car, she will let you know... so just play it cool, until she says something. After which, you continue to play it cool, and change the subject to her. After this point it is the standard routine.
The car is a good intro, but not all girls care. So never "try" to use it.
PS... I prefer to use the BigOLundh to pick up ladies... HA!!! Thats funny if you know what Lundh means... trust me.. ok.... now i sound like an idiot... i go now

Unfortunately mine was the crusty black one!

I was in Dallas today for work and saw an 8 with carbon fiber hood in a parking lot on Elmwood (off Mockingbird). Is it any of you?
This afternoon a blond in a Titanium gray took my parking spot in a lot near Alabama & Kirby. She didn't smile back.
