Story of my life - A day late and a dollar short

 

That really doesn't say much though... he's a horn dog and calls dibs on any female that walks, but he's too chicken to talk to them. So there's hope for you yet, Slim!

 

I saw a red at the starbucks on westgate right by my house, and then a silver about .5 miles down the road turning left. I've seen the owner of the silver in the driveway and honked at her before, she probably thought I was flirting..heh..she was right! :D

 

I saw another yellow today on 183 by slopac heading west, couldn't believe it...another yellow!! :D

 

Dibs Schmibs... that means nothing.

Let's see who SHE calls dibs on first.

 

One of my Officers has a yellow 8.

Spotted a TiGrey on University turning onto Berry today around noon. OEM spoiler.

BTW: Potbelly's has great sandwiches!

 

Spotted SS on Hulen today w/aftermarket rims. I waved, excitedly, and got nothing in return. Booger eater.

I saw another, either SS or TiGrey parked on 4th St near Camp Bowie, but I was house shopping w/Jess and wasn't able to tag it.

It CAN get frustrating though.... it took me 4 months to find mine, but I LOVE it.

 

it was fun and frustrating :D We saw a very cute houses in awesome neighborhoods, and then we saw some not so cute houses in not so cool neighborhoods. My favorite was off Trail Lake just north of I20. But we looked everywhere in FW...

 

There was a black one at riata bar and grill today, same place we had lunch, if you happen upon this thread I was the guy in the U2 t-shirt with a bunch of other people. Hope you read this and make it out on one of our TexasRxs runs, we'd love to have ya'

 

Spotted black 8 on Forest Park just west of 30 (as if you're leaving downtown). Looked stock, no spoiler, but very clean. I honked and waved and I think I got a honk back. Hello to you!!

 

If it had chromed wheels it was this guy named Tony. I met him today at a gas station and gave him one of those flyers i made. Not the cookout one, but the invite to rx8club and rack daddys.

 

dang today has been a spotting day and a half, this morning I saw a yellow pulling into the Firestone tire place on William Cannon and Brodie, then during lunch I saw a Titanium Gray pulling into Riata Vista off of Parmer, then another Silver on 620 by Parmer, and then a black with the facotry 16s at the Whataburger on 620 in front of the Wally World where I was getting my grub on, howdy peoples!

 

Wow, that is a lot of 8's Canary... and it's only 1pm!!

 

must be my rotary magnestism :D

Spotted a blue 8 headed south on Bryant Irvin, at a red light at River Park Run. I turned onto River Park and I waved excitedly! ... and got nothing. Oh well, maybe next time.

 

I don't post much here, just tend to lurk and keep up with what's happening. So first of all "Hello, to everyone". I drive a Shinka.

Today was amazing. I usually don't see any 8s when I'm driving around but today I saw at least 6, maybe 7, in a relatively small area of Lewisville, Coppell and Irving.

1. Red - driving North on Denton Tap - Coppell - about Noon. I was driving South, waved, but did not see any reaction.

2. TG or Silver - parked in TGI Fridays parking lot - Irving - around 1.00pm - I was driving around the parking lot but decided it was too busy so didn't stay.

3. Green - driving South on Belt Line (just after Denton Tap transforms into Belt Line) - Coppell - about 2.00pm - I was driving North, waved but was passed before I could see a reaction.

4. TG or Silver - driving South on Belt Line - Coppell about 2.00pm. This was a block North of the Green. Again I waved, no reaction.

5. TG - driving around Vista Ridge Mall parking lot - Lewisville - 3.30pm. This time I was walking towards my car by Foleys - no chance to wave.

6. Black - turning from Valley Parkway onto Main St - Lewisville - 8.00pm. I was in my Durango so no waving since the guy would probably think I was insane.

7. Black - parked near Chipotle on Main St - Lewisville - about 8.20pm. I suspect this was the same as 6. above.

Thought I'd say "Hi" to anyone I saw that may be on here.

 

Heck, this is a cool thread! I'll have to start adding the 8s I see around town in here.

For starters, there is a Red 8 that is parked on the other side of the building I work in everyday off of Davenport road (near Frankford and Preston) near the Dallas/Plano border. It has the full appearance package along with the strakes, chrome exhaust liners and chrome rotary accents. Its license plate says "EURO RX". One of these days, when I'm driving my 8 to work, I'lll have to go over and introduce myself. :D
