Snow!!!

So the rest of the country has 4 seasons for the most part, Austin usually has 2

Tonight it snowed in December though!! woohoo!!

I took some crappy phone pics as that's all I have for the moment, may wait another 30 minutes and go grab some more. (brrrr)

No snow or ice here, but we just got plenty of rain and wind.

It's still coming down but I haven't been back outside, driving home from work in it was a trip, looked like I was watching a screensaver through my front window

Nice pics, I thought we'd get the same in Dallas but as far as I know we just got the sleet storm also. I left work just in time to get stuck in it and I cringed the entire way home because it sounded like hail was destroying the 8! I do love the cold though!!

In Oak Hill we actually got hailed on...god that sucked. I was freaking out because its the one time all the covered parking was jacked in my complex....and then it started snowing. So this morning it was fun trying to scrape that stuff off.

Canary RX-8,

Never thought I'd be telling this to a Texan..., but... Us northern guys know that the stock summer tires are frankly dangerous at temperatures near / below freezing, and definitely not good for snow.

Put yer car back in the garage, y'all.

Lots of snow in Houston. I just got home and you can already see icicles on the signs and the snow is piling up on the side of the road. A lot of people already in accidents. Luckily it will all be gone by noon tomorrow. I felt like I was in a snow globe driving around.

Ha, yea, I just moved out to texas from Mesa, Az and witnessed the snow and was like WTF is this??? Thankfully I was in my Tahoe and the 8 was sleeping peacefully in her garage, but I was shocked. It was my first time driving in snow!

Meh...should have posted this when it snowed here the same day.

New Orleans got snow. Last time snow it snowed, we got wiped out by a hurricane 9 months later. Looks like a mid-August hit next year. Got my pirogue ready.

Shitty cell pic.

well if it's for real, why is it snowing everywhere?

I'll be in Vegas for CES incidentally, maybe I can meet up with some fellow 8club homies while I'm there

Global warming is a misnomer sorta. It's not the fact that the earth is heating up so much, as all the weather cycles and what not are getting jacked up, i.e. snow in vegas and socal.

Heard about that. I would have been really happy had the Saints not been knocked out of the playoffs.
