Hello,

I've been out of the rotary world for some quite time and recently bought an 05 RX8, does anyone know a good rotary mechanic in S.A.??, I'm from Laredo and basically I work on my car myself because haven't found a local mechaninc that doesn't fear the car when I enter to his garage. Altho the only problem I have right now is clogged cat, it'll be great to know that someone will be able to rebuild an engine or do some other major work on the car with out any doubts.

Go to the SARX Lounge We are our own mechanics and can help ya with most problems... clogged cat can either be replaced with a catless mid pipe or a factory cat (expensive)..

 

I was thinking just gutting the cat in the mean time, just to confirm if that is what is causing the loss of power and low backfires from exhaust, I have no CEL, replaced Coils and sparks about a month ago except the wires.., I'm leaning towards a clogged cat..
