Road Trip to OKC BBQ!!!

ALWAZL8 and I are planning on driving up to Tulsa, OK for the 2005 Rotary BBQ and want to invite everyone in the metroplex to drive with us if you don't have plans for Memorial Day weekend. We're driving up the morning of Saturday, May 28, staying the night and driving home Sunday, May 29.

So far there are 40 cars and 62 people going... See this thread for more info regarding the event: https://www.rx8club.com/gulf-rx-8-forum-32/2005-oklahoma-rotary-bbq-54021/

This should be fun guys!!! Make the drive if you can!!

Well since I just got back about a 2 weeks ago. I'm seriously thinking about it. Once I get something firm, I'll get back with you

I'll talk with Brandon and see if he'll be willing to go. He works crazy hours though. And I saw an black 8 on base and put the website under the windshield. We have a lot more in our area, and I want them all to join, so we won't be alone.

I want to mention -- for those who are on the fence -- that you need to register before the event so enough space and food/drink are available.

How can ya'll pass up this deal? Only $65/night for the hotel room (and so far there are 2 of us from DFW making only $32 each for 2 people, $22 for 3 people, $14 for 4 people...). The event is FREE, but donations are welcome (buy a t-shirt for $11 and kill 2 birds w/one stone). You could have an awesome weekend with some of the most fun rotary owners in the area for as little as $25 plus gas!!! You'd be crazy to pass this up !!

Look at what Ethernetgeek had to say in another thread: "Bump since the DFW guys and gals keep burying this thread with all their posts!! No flames please! I'm just jealous because you guys are so numerous."

C'mon guys!!! They want to meet us!! Let's not let them down and show them our numbers!!!

I'll know for sure by tomorrow night. As of now my family is moving June 10th, giving me Memorial Day weekend free. I'll let you know tomorrow. That's not bad for me... 9 days in advance!

I'm never late in my RX8, but when I need to plan, I need a woman.

I hate making definite plans!

:D I guess that's a good thing? I'd hate to be anything else. You'll know if I'm going or not if I'm there when you leave.

That means I am a man and I do not currently have the capability of making a plan for something that will happen more than 10 minutes from now! I have this disease that disables me from making decisions. It sucks. Oh screw it... I'M GOING! See, that's why I like you Dazy. You helped me make a decision.
