We're leaving Saturday morning to head up there and coming back on Sunday. Tiff, what time are we leaving?

 

We're leaving Sat morning, hopefully in enough time to be there by 9:30ish. Assuming it'll take 4 hrs, we leave at 5am. Shari and I will leave early enough to meet you and Racer off 75, but I need a location where we can meet--any suggestions? We'll all fill up at the same time so we all need to stop roughly at the same time.

Don't forget to bring something to wear to the bars Sat night. Anybody have a radar detector? If so, I'd personally prefer that person to lead, however if no one does, any volunteers? <ahem, Ajax>

I figure checkout is 11-12 (I forget which) and we can leave around then or when everyone gets up.

Anyone have any preferences to the sleeping arrangement? I want to snuggle with Ajax. :D :p

 

Shari, you and I will have to leave around 4am to meet Ajax and Racer at 5am. Maybe we just shouldn't sleep!?!?

 

(groaning) Did I forget to tell you that I'm not a morning person?! Maybe we shouldn't go to sleep..... nah, I think we should even if it's only for a minute. :D

I'm thinking ballcap and very little makeup for the trip up and once we check in at the hotel in Tulsa I can fix that before we go to the BBQ, right?! It's not like a wear a whole lot of makeup to start with, but every little bit helps. :D

There should be enough down time after the BBQ to go back to the hotel room and take a nap. I'm the queen of napping and I'll make sure we squeeze one in. :D

Oh yes, I was definitely joking on the no-sleep part. Re-read above statement. :D :p

I probably won't do too much to get ready in the AM, just a quick shower. My hair looks better when I don't care so I'll take that route. I do need to look semi-decent though so our fellow non-RX8 sports car drivers can be that much more jealous when they see us all driving together. :D

And our first stop: Starbucks. :D

 

LOL.... well, my hair has a mind of it's own most of the time anyway! I can do semi-decent just don't expect head-turning material. :D

Please tell me that Starbucks has Dr Pepper, too! I'm not a coffee drinker.

as far as meeting, if you want to meet in plano, i live at 75 and legacy. there's a shell station right at the northbound exit on the corner there. it's as far north as you can go in plano without being in allen.

oh.. now i get to snuggle? sweet :b

i'll make sure i pack on friday cuz otherwise there's no way i'll get everything done.. as far as starbucks goes, there's one up at 75 and somethingorother in mckinney or alma and mcdermott in allen.. or alma and parker in plano.. or.. do i need to go on?

Anyway.. lol.. yes.. i have a radar detector and i know how to use it. If we leave that early, there wont be much need for it though.. hehe.. it's all good.

Is 75/legacy north or south of 635? I'd like to meet north so Shari and I aren't backtracking.

I plan to hit up Starbucks and DP before we meet up, but I'll probably be ready for round two by 5am. :D

I'd also like to take advantage of leaving early... if you catch my drift. :D

 

about 15 miles or more north of 635. You'll take 635 all the way to 75 and take 75 north until the last plano exit, legacy..

As far as starbucks goes.. i dont drink coffee :b I'm just a frappuccino addict and a chocoholic.. and yes.. i do know the entire menu just about even tho i dont drink half of it.
