Ok, here's what I have so far.
1) I have a boat on Lake Travis, it's an 18 footer, but I'm trying to sell it. If it's not sold by then, we can use it and maybe rent some jet skis or another boat to fart around on. Rental place is at the next marina where I get gas.
2) I have a connection to a brand new bar that's on 6th street. I'm thinking that we can make that our 1st and last stop for the evening. I'm trying to get more input from my friends brother who owns the bar.
Let me know if any of this sounds good to you.

The "young" chicks in the bikinis are usually partying in Devils Cove on LT with the college boys. There are also chicks that look like they've been rode hard and put away wet in bikinis out there trying to pass as a young one.
Me, I'm just a butt white chunky monkey in what ever I can squeeze myself into. ;-)

this is one weekend I am really looking forward too Austin is such a great central location for just about every corner of the state it would be great to have a yearly meet if this goes well.
This could well be the inaugral meet of many to come. :D

And I really hope the Austin and Houston 8ers can get involved with us. What a shame it would be if we were all in the same place at the same time and didn't get to meet everyone and see all the 8s together. Austin better watch out! RX8s are going to be invading!

Indeed I hope that people from all over make it down. Since last year was the last Sevenstock it has left a huge void since it was the biggest rotary event in the U.S.
It was incredibly popular and I am still not sure why they called it off.
Rotary Revolution is in Indy but guess what? It's the same weekend we have this planned I am all for something a lot closer than Indy though.
Maybe a good turnout and lots of pics can generate some commercial interest from maybe a local dealership would put some funds towards the event.
I would think that a huge number of RX8's showing up on one weekend will leave a lasting impression with the locals. That could generate more interest which would generate more sales.
I think 20 people were at the first Sevenstock.

Or we can try and plan regular trips to different locations about once every three months or so depending on the group. Like during the summer we could all make a mad dash for the Gulf or some other beach location.
