I think N-O has been spending time with his son. He got more visitation rights after the last mediation. Scalli has been around, but not posting. Not sure what's up with him actually... we still need to have lunch.

I got my strakes in the mail today and I installed them!!! Looks good!!!

Ok, I can't help it. I can't figure out what women are going to do, what they are thinking or when they are lying. Why do the girls you don't want keep calling, and the one that you actually are interested in says "I'll call you later"? I think I'll stop here since I had a bad night last night and don't need to yell and scream about it

 

Girls that you don't want are the ones that "really want" you. It's human nature. People tend to want what they can't have. They don't appreciate what they do have. They miss what they have lost. Happiness is wanting what you have already gotten. Anyone else want me to write someone for them before I put it on a fortune cookie?

On a side note: I get a call from my manager around 9:15 this morning. He's wondering why I wasn't at work. I told him that honestly I didn't remember that I had actually signed up to come and work a Sunday. Oh, well, I end up showing up at work at 10:30 so I was about 2 1/2 hours late. First time I've ever been late. He was pretty cool about it, I'm still getting an occurance, but that's it.
On a brighter note: since we get paid time and a half for working Sunday's, even though I missed 2 1/2 hours of work, I'll still make about the same on my paycheck and I'll be off Friday and Saturday this week.

 

Well, nice to hear from you. Where the hell have you been? Then again I don't guess I showed up last Tuesday. By the way... thanks for the insight. I guess it's true. Oh well.

 

I'll try to return the favor and help you out Slim. The reason you can't figure out what we are going to do is because most of the time we don't know what we're going to do. What are we thinking? Over-analyze everything and approach the situation from every possible angle and change your mind often--that's pretty much how we think. Since you don't know when someone is lying until you catch them in it or they confess, give her the benefit of the doubt until she proves you wrong. If she breaks the trust, get rid of her. "I'll call you later" means she doesn't want to come across as too eager and she's playing her part in the game. Again, take her word for it and let her call you--don't call her unless she's extremely forgetful (like me :D ) To get the girls you don't want calling you to stop, don't answer the phone when she calls. It can be tough, but it's tried and true and it'll work.

 

:D It's ok... I was explaining how women are just as bad as men. I don't have real problems. Everything is OK with me. I do appreciate the input though. I don't think she is lying at all, I'm just still learning what "a little while" means.
