lotsa wax and the right lighting.
you're seeing a lot of reflections of the trees that make it appear darker than it actually is.

It really does look that dark though. But of course if the sun is blazing it doesnt, but still close.

OKC BBQ!! Only a 3 hour drive from FW. Maybe drive up early Sat morning, do the BBQ thing, party that night and drive home Sun? We'd still have Monday to find some lake to do traditional Memorial Day activities such as sun bathe and cook out and drink beer. :D Hmmm... sounds like the Austin trip only a different city!

I could drive to FW on Friday after work (assuming I have a couch to crash on at your apt?). :D Heck, I might even ask off for Tuesday in case I get toasted from all the beer on Monday! Then I could take my time getting back home - might have to stop in Terrell at the outlet!
