Well, I don't know about the pics. I am not going to just post pics of her on the internet!

Especially since I've only known her for a few weeks.

I know you will think this is CRAZY, which it is, but she has this thing about dress/skirts. To show you how shy she is, she never wears jeans/pants. She almost always wears skirts. She doesn't feel comfortable in pants, although she looks amazing! She only owns 2 pairs of jeans and one pair of shorts. lol

So I think she would be mortified if there was a pic of her for everyone to see! Im just respecting her feelings, even though she will probably never surf the rx8 boards.

 

Since when does DFW think about other people's feelings? :D You should see some of the things that have been done to my pics!

+1 on meeting a really really awesome girl the other night (Sunday). Don't know what will come of it but at least I had my yearly date, who knows, I might even get to 2 dates this year! (woohoo!) She was beautiful, sweet, loves cars and music, likes my car, let me drive her brand new car (on the first date no less?!) I'm just beside myself as she even paid for dinner claiming she asked me out first. You guys got any tips? lol

Well, I guess I can join the club as well. Mine is really a long story, but I knew her in high school. Not real well, but I knew her. She has been in Dallas for a while and I ran into her. We've been out twice now and I'm not sure where it's going, but we'll see.

It's perfect though... she likes history, I hate it. I like math and science, she hates them. She's real big in to politics, I just vote. :D

btw what ever happened with your 8? Did it get fixed? Or is it permanently dead? Did an asteroid hit it? <-I'm not joking on that one...I wouldn't rule it out.

Actually, it's on a jack right now due to front driver side suspension problems. Other than that, it just has a banged up rear bumper, but runs great.

 

My Suggestion.. HIT THAT!!!

 

It was a brand new IS250, sweet *** car, just little too big/heavy for my personal taste (not to mention the $$$ of it). Sadly, I'ev hardly talked to her since then, we had a perfect night, got along really well, had a ton of things in common, yet since Sunday I've hardly heard from her. I did send her 2 messages the following day, one to say thanks for the date, one to point her to some places to learn about her car since she was wanting to do stuff to it. I just don't understand how things could have been so perfect and yet I feel like I'll never hear from her again. I did all the things you're supposed to do, didn't talk about my ex even which was a big problem in the past, I was dressed casual but not like slob, it's really driving me nuts as I can't possibly think of anything I said or did that was rude/inappropriate....ugh... wtf is wrong with people nowadays?

 

From my experience, not worth much but here, your first mistake is your waiting for her to contact you again. Granted things are a little more modern nowadays, but for the most part, a girls gonna wait for you.

I had a friend, female, who once told me, "If a guy likes me, he will call me back ASAP, otherwise I figure he can live without me, he doesn't care that much, etc."

I wouldn't suggest coming across as a stalker, but definitely do some chasing!

 

well no, I contacted her several times, 2 emails on Monday, some im's yesterday. When I messaged her she told me she was in her car on her phone, then I never heard back form her again, she was on a lonnnnng time too. I asked her is she was busy, no answer, so finally I just told her I'd talk to later and to be safe etc. etc. **** I don't know, maybe I'm chasing too much? I was told to let it sit and see if she tries to contact me, up until now it's been all me trying to talk to her, with very little in return. She said Sunday she wanted to "do this again" and keep in touch. I know it's been a short time, but I'm really ready to just give up the whole idea. Nobody is worth this really,it's been only 3 days since our date, but crap, I should have had at leat 1 normal conversation since then if she was really interested right?

First of all, 3 DAYS! It doesn't mean anything man. It's way too soon. don't sweat. But your right, cool your jets a bit.

I know this sounds stupid, but what I usually do is call the next day or two after meeting her, but I call when I know she's most likely to answer. I be fairly blunt, and somewhat flirtatious. I try to have a very healthy conversation. Ask about her, and listen. Then don't call back for a week. Then call back, when you know she will answer, and say hey I want to see you tonight/tommorow. make it very short notice. From there.. I have no idea, by that time I guess I just play it by ear.



btw that girl I met, out of the last 4 times I've seen her she's wore jeans 3 times! I think she likes me... lol

I've done something with her every weekend since we met, and we talk all the time on the phone. So it's going well. So CanaryRx8, it's totally worth it!

 

allright man, I think I'm going to let her come to me, she knows I'm very interested so I don't have to worry about that. If she's really interested in me, I'm failry confident she'll find me. If she's not, I'll be bummed but it just means that door has closed and there's something better lurking behind the next one. Good to hear on your deal, hope it all works out

 

Yeah, she knows you like her... and if she wants to keep it going, she knows how to get a hold of you. If she does great, if not whatever... In the meantime keep finding more girls.

The only thing i would of done differently is butt s*x. Like my old motto... an*l in 15 minutes or your paying for your own dinner.
Then again she did pay for her own dinner... so hmm... i may need a new motto.
