A quick question on

Hello all,
I was just wondering if there is any other shop in houston other than maz max to get trans. and diff. fluid replaced. It sseems that I can't fit maz max's schedule.
I don't have tools or skills do it at home.
Thanks in advance!!!

What type of problem are you having fitting the schedule.

Are they too busy or is it the hours. Most other shops in town keep similar hours?

I know the service manager personally over there, so if you having problems let me know. I will see what I can do to help.

Hello DrKillJoY
I guess it's both. I can't really make it during the weekdays and most of Saturday. When I called them a few times it seems that either they don't have a mechanic on Saturday or they have to order the fluid. I guess I can call them back and find out to see if they can take me this Saturday since I am available this Saturday. I was also wondering if there is any other shop in Housotn I can take my 8 if needed.
Thank you for your help!!

Other than dealers there aren't any "specialists" I know of. As long as they have a days notice they should be able to order the fluids. I suppose your going to go with Royal Purple maybe?

Other than the dealers (cross your fingers) and MazMax. Your best bet is just to find a honest and knowledgeable general mechanic (like many of those exist).
