Cool. I'll go ahead and register. BUT I can't swear to it yet.
Also I'm not sure if I'll bring the FD up. Its good for around town again, but I don't want to be stranded.
I still have the NB though.

Why don't we just do most wheel horsepower?

Most people with heavy aftermarket work have dyno slips. Make people who want to enter the competition provide a copy of their dynos.

Sweet, a fellow Arkansas member. It would be sad to have a quad state meet with only 3 states show up!

See page 3 of this thread. That info is in post 31, I believe, and is being kept up-to-date.

You could always contact the Castroil Oil PR department. If they are not at an event, and there is enough interest they have a mobile dyno that does promotions. Maybe one of the vendors that is helping sponsor the meet has some connections. My Castroil contact no longer works in PR.

Just got back from outta town. Opened Outlook waiting to see 30,000 registrations but, nuttin'! I think I am depressed...I am going to bed. Oh wait! I am tired! Bah...same thing. What's going on? Did we max out? Are we too far away from the actual date and few people can commit?

WOW is soo weird seeing my name on that "has not registered yet" list.. LOL.. ohh well, ill see if the FC is running by then..

As far as the Most HP, a suggestion, why dont you call Alamo Autosport in Arlington, see the cost for 3 pulls with wideband and w/o wideband and then try to set up a lil dyno day at the same time as the BBQ.. for example you can either do it the day before the BBQ or you can do it while doing the BBQ.. so if the BBQ starts at 11 you can have the dyno reserved for like 12 or 1 and then once thats done go back to the BBQ.. is only fair for those who are putting down the big power you know.. specially for those 3rd gen 7's and the single turbo guys..LOL.. now the only thing is that you will need a hard confirmation on who would be competing in the Most HP.. another way to dyno the cars, try contacting a mobil dyno and see what the charge is or if maybe they can just go and park in a corner and peeps would just go and get dyno.. depending on the confirmations they are like 55 for 3 pulls w/o wideband..

on the sponsors, have you guys try to talk to Synthetic Designs about sponsoring by maybe cutting down a lil on the cost of the shirts and what not.. also what about Gotham, Revvin 7's, Rotary Performance, etc.. have you guys try to see if they want to help you guys out?? what about a radio station to help get this sponsor as well??

I don't like the Radio station idea. I just have a feeling that will bring out kids that will crash our meet.(more than I)

The rotary shops should be willing. Since this should be a great place to show your venue.
