Yes you better! I would suggest anyone who has something going on up at that shop to get it taken care of ASAP. The shop will still be there, but owned by someone else and who knows what information and/or parts will or will not be passed along.

Cut He's Head OFF!!

Just kidding, but getting close. Of course when you mentioned mine or Joey's name he had something to say about it. When I was talking about you or Joey to him he would throw the blame on your or him. This is far beyond out of hand. I've called at least 3 times a day for the past 3 weeks. He still owes me a windshield plus some work. If I don't get in touch with him before Monday I'll be in my lawyer's office. My credit union is on me because of a "decreased value" in my car.

For future reference I have a good paint and body guy, he has done all of my repairs he's a friend of my dad's and he is more than reasonable and gets stuff done because he wants to get paid. He is flexible with the insurance rearrangements for other body parts (like mazda speed etc) Most of all this is his slow season so he is even more flexible. He is in Lewisville. PM me if you want the contact info. Sucks that all this with Martin turned as bad as it did.

Wouldn't you if you were up to your neck in shi*t? I told him this morning that he would be smart to sell the shop and pay off his debts so he could move on with a clean slate. At least it would show that he's somewhat aware of his tarnished reputation. Other than break even, there's nothing he can do with this crowd.

Oh, I agree. Otherwise he would just be digging himself deeper. Really he's not that bad... he's just so far set back that he has to be this way.

Anyway, back to tearing my car apart.

I've just spent 20 minutes reading and catching up...

First of all... Thank you Tiff for all your troubles and pointless visits to Martin's old shop, but mostly for also reminding him about Brian and me.

Now here's what I will end up doing....

I will have to visit him at his new place, and nicely ask him to work on my car just enough to get it back in the right shape. The last time I had spoken to him he had said that my car can be put back together if I left it for a few hours. The biggest problem is that the quarter panel is not 100% straight, and for some reason when it rains or I wash my car, the left tail light gets water in it. We replaced it , and the same problem occured. I went to the dealership and had them replace it, and again. So... other than that BIG? problem... I need an alignment. My Insurance PAID for that alignment to be done, but he didn't do it. Everyone knows that this can cause other problems such as uneven wear on the tires (which are not cheap at all). Small things that really don't bother me, but may decrease the value of the car also need to be done.

Here's the thing... I supposedly still owe him about $600 dollars... and I told him I would pay him as soon as I got my wing installed, had the appearance package, and he had fixed the tail light problem and alignment. Also finish it off with a REAL buff job! My car still has swirl marks like Brian's car... not to mention some scratches that I KNOW happened at Martin's.

So... if he is not able to fix my stuff the way it should be... I will not pay him squat! But he still needs to fix the car where it is street safe (alignment... etc.) or I can complain to my insurance (USAA) which WILL do something about it. They may not help me much, but they can bring him down...(I rather not do that to him) Martin is a cool guy... but the thing about him is that he will tell you what you WANT to hear and promise all kinds of things, then he can't comply.

If you have a chance Tiff... please send me the address to his new job. So I can go visit him ASAP. Thank you.

I'm sorry guys, but until I've taken care of my situation, I'm not telling where he works. I wasn't even supposed to know.
