Is anything going on Soon? Cold weather is driving me nuts not having any stuff going on. I usually use this for Troubleshooting/DIY's - not much networking. My 8 buddies got rid of theirs! Traitors lol jk. Victorino & JSSTABLUR -

Edmond

Just purchased an 2008 RX8 w/ 7,000 miles and no mods, except for custom rims. This is a great car. I hope to make it out to Ted's.

hello all! my car is still down and waiting for paint. took the parts to the painters today and hope to have them in a week or so. The INGS front finally came in after 3 months! the fitment is great, didnt have to do much work to it. while the fenders are off, I am attempting a wire tuck of those two large cable runs over the fenders. I am also hiding my 0 gauge stereo power cable. BTW, have two batteries now under the hood. I also shaved the trunk of all emblems and removed the spoiler. Better check your spoiler if you have a factory one, mine had rubbed two major spots into the top of the trunk and had started to rust, paint was also coming up.
will post pics when it is back together.
let me know what mods you all are working on. Thanks,Tom

Hey Tom, glad to hear from you again. I'm ordering my MS rear bumper this week. I need to finish ordering guages, injectors and a new Cobb, so that I can get my greddy kit installed by this summer.

What brand are your lambo doors? I'm thinking about getting a set.

Hey Jim! greddy kit? wow! that will be nice. i seen a guy has one for sale on the forum, looks legit. as for the door kit, verticaldoors.com is about the best one out there, LSD is also very nice, but also very expensive. I have had my kit on now for about 5 years when they first started offering it. let me know it that is the way you decide to go. i have alot of tips on the install, you can definitely do it yourself.
where in the world did you find a MS kit? I could not find a true MS kit for mine, even in a different color to have painted. That is why I had to go with the INGS Spec 1 front, kinda glad i did now, it is really gonna look nice.

I got the kit from my mechanic a kid here in town bought a turbo 8, untuned and proceeded to blow it up. He bought the car to rebuild and sell. I'm getting the kit with install for 3k. As for the MS rear bumper, I'm buying a replica so that I can get a full bumber. The MS rear just attaches to the bottom of the stock rear. Some asshat hit my bumper at the Shinedown concert and cracked it. Then just drove off. I've been looking at INGs side skirts. I need a shorter skirt to match my front bumper. I can't stand having the skirts lower. It needs to be level.

Thanks for the heads. I will definitely do that. He pushed the water gaskets, so hopefully no shrapnel in the exhaust. I think the apex seals are still intact.

I'll be at the Mile the weekend before running a FD we just picked up. Gonna be a fun build. Have fun at the Texas8.

We need another get together. I know a couple of the guys were talking about running down to southeastern OK through what little mountains we have.

You too. Hope you don't have a weekend like the Gallardo guy.

Come on guys, someone has to be up for the texas8. There's at least 2 going from Tulsa, maybe 3. You'll never find a better group than the NTX and SARX crews.

Car is back together!!!!! back on the road, until this dang snow and ice storm blew in! Hope everyone made it through this thing without any dings or damage.

I was able to tuck cables on the passenger side under the fender and re routed my 1/0 gauge power cable under the driver side fender for a neater layout. very satisfied with the INGS Spec 1 front and love my trunk deck lid shaved, NO EMBLEMS or spoiler, finally!

I'm going to post my old Raven front nose piece up for sale, cheap, due to the damage on the nose part. it can be fixed, but could be bolted up for use if someone wanted to. it is the one in my avatar image. probably going to ask $100. fitment is 9 out of 10, rest of the paint is excellent, with rock guard along the bottom lip. the rock guard is painted black, did the same thing on my new one, an experience thing from having my first one repainted twice! it also survived a couple of curb touches because of the rock guard.

I also have the OEM B black front, scratches though, if someone is interested in it.

I would love to make the Texas run, but a little too far for me. Plus, sadly, I'm unemployed and dont know what job I will have by then, and if I can take off for the drive. Hoping that something comes along soon. If anyone knows of a CEO/management position open in a manufacturing or industrial service setting, please let me know.

The good thing is, I have had PLENTY of time to work on the 8!

I'm gearing up for the IFO shows, and will most definitely make the Tulsa event this year, maybe even the DFW one. keep me in touch on any big shows in your area.
