craigslist is your friend seriously though, about a dozen or so people at work have recently bought bikes off there, it's been nuts lately with all the cars being replaced by motorcycles

 

There's a WB with neons that lives in the apartments across from mine on Monterey Oaks Blvd, and I saw a SS on the access road where Brodie hits 290.

 

Saw a BB under the freeway on Tidwell and 290. Has black rims, nice :o

unofficially, a few of us have small ones on our cars, we never went carclub crazy with an actual "logo" you have to sport to be a member or anything like that.

 

Even tho I'm in DFW area, I actually bought my 8 from RB Mazda in Austin, so she has Austin roots. I was thinking about possibly joining you guy's group -- or maybe we can start a wing of TexasRXs up here. Its a cool name, and has the makings of a great logo, anyway. Just a thought.

 

Saw a silver 8 in the Star furniture parking lot off of 59 and Belaire area today around 1pm.

not an 8 but worthy of bein mentioned i saw a silver lotus elise today heading north on 287 towards arlington around 4ish

 

dang, I can't wait to see one of these in person, they look frickin' huge in pictures. I'm not too sure I dig the styling, but until I actually see one I can't really say.

Saw a grey with Cali plates at the Hobbytown north, even nodded to the owner, probably should have talked to him but I was in a hurry (doh)

Saw a white 8 going north on Lake Ridge, near Joe Pool. Might have given me a wave, not sure. I'm just desensitized to other 8 owners not noticing my shiney red 8.

 

New 8 owner in DFW checking out the thread... I'm sure I'll be shouting out to some of you eventually.

I'm posting because there was a GT-R, supposedly the first one in Texas, at Hiley Mazda in Hurst visiting the lot on the same day I picked up my RX-8.

 

The GT-R came thru austin...a buddy here spotted it in a parking lot two days ago...

And I agree, waaaayyy too many 8's to mention, it breaks my heart...can they be discontinued please? I don't appreciate how much the value on it is dropping! Not that I'm looking to sell it but seriously...

On a side note, I was directly next to another VR pretty much the exact same as mine, GT, sunroof open...driving down Belt Line between Preston and Hillcrest. Two guys, light after light...never once even looked my direction!! Posers. Geez.

 

I spotted a VR at McDermott and Coit this morning waiting to turn. I will be traveling to Austin for the weekend so maybe someone will finally spot me!
