saw a red one on wm. cannon/mopac today at the light as I was turning left

That is such a correct comment. I might see one other one a day. That's one of the awesome things about this car.

 

I've seen quite a few in the woodlands recently... one brilliant black, revved my engine at it a little when passing at the intersection. Saw a stormy blue. Saw a VR earlier (was in a bmw 5 series) on research, was man smoking. And... saw another somewhere but cant remember color or where it was at the moment.

 

Yeah, saw this SS at about 2:30 a.m. filling with gas, last Tuesday night in Addison. My guess would be she's not on the forum...

Got a wave returned for the first time last Friday! Girl in a VR headed South on Midway near Beltline. Her boyfriend was either enjoying the ride in his girl's 8 or it was his ride and he was saying "you better wave back!" while she was driving it. Either way, it was sweet!!

New dark blue color (what are those called?) west on Belt Line Friday around five.

And finally, there is a VR that is always parked at Wizards in Richardson on 75 and Spring Valley-I always back in next to you-you on here?

Saw a VR today after work. Drove behind and along all the way on Memorial Parkway from downtown and past the 610 Loop. Looked over, but it was kinda dark and rainy plus we both had tinted windows.

 

Saw a red one getting on the interstate at Acadian , didn't get close enough to wave. :-D I don't get to drive mine much but I would be tickled to death if someone waved at me!

 

i once like saw 3 in a row all within like 3 min or so.. kinda nuts.

Saw a shitload these past few days in the Woodlands - talked to a few, got waves from some, blown off by others.


The ones that stand out are...

...(Near I-45 on Grogans Mill) A silver driven by a older guy who didn't seem to notice me at all.

...(Near Woodlands Parkway) A red driven by a woman who also didn't notice me at all.

...(Shell station between Gosling & Shadowbend) A silver one driven by someone who saw my car at a gas station and asked me a bunch of questions regarding gas mileage and maintenance. They never heard of the forum - hopefully when they join they won't get flamed for asking "newbie" questions.

...(On Research Forest Dr. near Gosling) A blue one driven by an older guy who said he just got the car a few weeks ago and had never heard of rx8club.com before (maybe he'll join?)

...(Near the Woodlands Mall) A black one with a passenger that noticed me and smiled but the driver didn't take notice.

 

keep seeing a red one on my side of town near my neighborhood, I wave and such but they never look my way

 

Apparently I have a look alike in Dallas, spotted saturday night going NB on 75-VR, brunette, 20's...any takers? I'm thinkin this has to be the one girl that has waved back at me that a mentioned in my last post?!

 

alot of these are popping up on the streets now 04s are getting cheap (like how i get mine) i thnk i saw that red one, parked near UT engineering building, may be a mechanical engineer from UT like me too =D

That was me. What do you mean Riced!!!! the Mazda Logo was intergrated in the tint when I purchased it. Sets it apart. as for the mesh, it is not painted but is a custom mesh insert. the plain black plastic from the factory just looked plain. Everyone has their own taste, just keep that in mind, and honk when you see me so I can flip you off...

Saw two back to back at OU today. Looked like the new grey color and a red. Red one had a bodykit on and was one of the first other rx8's i've seen around town with a kit.

 

Saw what looked like a lowered Ti Gray with clear corners at Baylor today. Sorta freaked me out and made me think i was seeing things since I had just gotten out of my car a couple minutes before. Is it anyone on here?

 

Spotted a VR with 20" Chrome rims in the medical center today in SA. Bling Blangin'!!

 

I miss UT...anymore alumni on here? I'm a petroleum engineer and RX8's are good for our industry because of the low gas mileage and its' need for supreme gas $$$$. LOL, but it's not good for my pockets...I try to spend $50/week max.

 

not alumni, but I bleed orange anyway, hope they make it past Stanford tomorrow, and I keep seeing a cute girl in a white one at my work, maybe some day I should park next to her....coincidentally of course.

 

Saw a Sunlight Silver yesterday afternoon on the I-45 feeder in the Woodlands taking the turnaround to Lake Woodlands Drive.

I also saw a Lightning Yellow pulling into some apartments off of Rayford Road at about 6:30PM or so. It definately had an exhaust and possibly a midpipe. It sounded real good.
