The Mazdatrix lip looks decent and functional and is only $150.00.

Looks like autotrader was a wise investment. I have a second person looking at the 8 tomorrow. The first guy sounded like he was fairly serious, so depending on how that goes, the second guy might not have a chance lol.

Well, it looks like it's sold. Met with a guy tonight and he hit within my target range. He's doing it via loan, so there's a chance that process might produce some problems, but assuming everything goes well, it's sold.

Happy birthday Cornholio.

BTW, great pass on those Mint Blue parts… they’re not nearly clean enough to complement the lines of the 8. To boy racer IMHO.

Congrats on the strut bars too. I’m curious, what do you think of the front two-point Panda strut bar as compared to your old four point brace? (Not sure who manufactured it, but it wasn’t the JIC version).

Thanks

and my wifes Yellow 8 has the 4 point strut bar it is from Corksport...

I can tell on mine however the rear brace stiffened up the back nicely...

It can. There's a box that's fit to the little extended sides of the trunk... definitely eats up some of the more useable space of the trunk, but it would be an option.

Well, as usual, the first deal seems like it didn't work out. I have 2 more guys lined up so hopefully one of them will work out better.

If possible, I will. I basically have set a limit of what I'm willing to accept with the wheels and if that offer isn't met, I'll tell them to consider stock wheels or call it a day. I know what I could reasonably get for the wheels with relative ease, so I'm not going to waver much from that value + the value of the car.

Fortunately, I had 2 more guys who were very interested in the car at the same price as the deal I had agreed on. About to head into class, so talking with one of them in a couple hours. He said he was pre approved for his loan so it sounds like I have another serious offer.

The guy that just fell through was approved and ready, but apparently didn't see his interest rate (15%) and couldn't find anything better, which is why he backed out.

Damn 15%? Wow.

FYI: Anyone who thinks they may need a clutch in the foreseeable future would be crazy not to get this. I replaced mine last year so i don't need it.

Ebay has two more for just $10 more. Doesn't seem like much of a deal at the moment.
