We have had good luck with the local craigslist.org I would keep an eye out there and on ebay. Just watch out for silly shipping prices on ebay.

 

hector if you want to save money but want the same look just find a set of oem halogen rx-8 head lights and then just use an HID kit from ddmtuning.com. It will save you half the money of decent or new HID's and you will have brand new headlights like mine

March 30th 'Texas Largest Street Race.'
I'm planning to watch but I'd like to see some 8s run. =]

 

I may have to attend this event.

 

Ill be there and would like to run my stock shinka but think i might feel a bit intimidated compared to the other cars that will be there and how you guys have yours moded.

It would also be the first time I really get to open the 8 up.

the best part about the 8 is sitting back and watching all the fools ruin their life a quarter mile at a time.....just take your 8 to a road course and get a real smile!

 

Yeah I used to basically live at SAR with past cars and I have no interest really in running my 8 at the drag strip. Even turbocharged, I would get walked by 90% of the cars there. If I blow it up on a track, it will be at H2R.

 

I'm gonna break my engine in on the drag strip.

Hey guys im John, Just picked up a super clean 2005 rx8 from Dallas. I got it for less than 5k. It had few issues I have fixed most of them but the most annoying thing of all is some stupid *** kid cut the springs off to lower the car. Does any one know where I can pick up some either very cheap coil overs, they can be used I don't care for now, or stock shocks/springs for the front and back the car is about a inch off the grown I can even get the damn oil changed cause they cant jack it up or get it over the pit. I am gone till the 17th but would like to get the car raised up when I get back. I haven't been here in san Antonio very long I live out west near dominion thanks for any help you guys can offer in advnce
