Now I just have to figure out what this new high pitch noise that goes off when the car is warming up it goes away when I press the clutch in so I'm thinking throw out bearing from all the searching I've been doing just want to be sure before I have to drop the transmission.

Thank you good sir, so I take it its not going to hurt anything if I leave it like that then, except my pride when I have to hear it sound like that lol? Yeah just bought some koni shocks and racing beat springs that set me back a bit so I dont got time for no throw out bearing. Rather save for the sohn set up ive been wanting and getting the accessport through MM.

Well of course if it will hurt my car ill focus on taking care of that, I just don't that's why I'm asking. I baby my car like crazy and get only the best of everything for it probably why this is the first problem the car has had since I bought it at 66,000 and drove the hell out of it to the 110, 000 mark I'm at now

 

T/O bearing isn't going to ruin your car.

Its not like skipping an oil change for 5 months or replacing your spark plugs every 3 years.

 

My TB makes noise and it is new But it's nothing major and when I put the S2 trans in I will put a new clutch, TB, etc. in then.

 

Transmissions working great. It's still learning how to shift but I'll take her back into the shop after a few days. Had a group photoshoot last week. The photographer does great work. He made my hood transparent by request. Whatta guy.

Hey guys so Im new and I'll give you a bit of a low down for me.

FIRST OFF: IM A NOOB! I know it so yea.. im here because I love speed, i'm not a mechanic or know anything detailing on mods or anything. I just love to feel the speed and I love my RX8. One of my dream cars when I was in High School and well I finally got it.

My first Rx8 was last year 05 model that was auto. Had lots of fun till ******* ran me off the road and totaled my car in Dec.

Beginning of Jan. 2013 I was able to get back into a 06 standard Shinka model. This is the first standard car I ever drove and not to worry i surprisingly never grinded the gears. You can say I always had a nack for wanting to shift and only trouble i had was first gear.

Alright so down to it... Im new yes and I know nothing of moding or anything. I did read up on the RX8 for basic care changing out what needs to be every 30,000 miles and such. Im really looking to learn off you guys and when possible upgrade what I can. I bought the car knowing fully well of what maintenance it needed and the possibilities of trouble it can cause if not taken care of. Im not rich but I do what I can. I would like to meet up with a few of you and chit chat and learn.

No, my car is not black its silver/gray. Actually havent raced the shinka yet. just accelerating getting on the highway to 80 before going reg speed

Hector, Teamrx-8 posted up the info, they are just rebranded Eibachs. But you could always just have Houstonrx8er build you a custom set of rears.
