The youtube vid says they almost broke the track record, and they weren't trying too hard.
H2R is a very technical track as they say or a bitch to get the power down with all the turns and bumps which is well suited for my RX8.
While you're at youtube look up vids where they can keep their foot in it for comparison.
Nice sounds for sure.

Man if I had the cash right now I would buy Chris' RX-8 as is (blown coolant seal), rebuild the engine and revert it to NA for daily use, and sell the turbo parts to make my money back on the rebuild costs. then I would have a clean, well modded, Forgestar wearing, MS kitted 8 for $9,000.00.
What else do you have done to your 8? If you are getting the BHR kit I would say get new plugs, air filter, cabin filter, change the oil, oil filter, coolant change, trans fluid change, diff fluid change, and clean you MAF and ESS.

I am up to my head in carbon, just started cleaning the intake amazing how much carbon is in there
Funny thing is everywhere clogging the port valve, checked my oil injectors and they look clean
I was expecting them to be as bad as the intake or perhaps they were not injecting oil at all hence the engine failure.
anyone know where to take the intake for a bling bling??
have agreat day I will have a carbon removal day

I agree with 9k, maintenance is key for these things to survive... I would start there.
