[QUOTE=shadycrew31;4223733]Woot! Hector... If you want I can paint your wheels for you. Just buy the paint, it'll take us about a day to do the whole project.

Thanks man That sounds good i just want to get done installing the rear rotors first so we can start on rims. 9k recommends me to paint them gun metal i think its like the color you had on you stock rims right? If it is it sounds like a good option

I just noticed a lot of knicks and chips in the wheels. Sorry I'm a bit picky when it comes to wheels. On my own car I notice every little chip and then stress over it.

Heck even on Hoss-05's car I obsess over the bit of curb rash on his wheel.

Hector these are on Craigslist for $300 but the seller is in Houston . I asked for the specs and they are 18x7.5 offset +38. Not really crazy figment but ya cannot beat the price for brand new wheels. The seller is willing to meet halfway.i would offer $250.

Do you have everything you need to pull the motor? Do you need me to bring anything? Do you have metal files? Do you have zip lock bags?

Even if the bolt pattern is off it is not a big deal to have the bored out or to have sleeves put in like on my wheels.

I'm coming down on Sat and staying the night. My plan is to get the engine fully broken down and and partially cleaned. I want to see what type of rebuild kit he needs/what needs to be replaced.

By the end of day on Saturday I'd like to get the engine out of the car and ready to be broken down. Sunday I'd like to have the engine broken down and the basic cleanup complete.

The only thing I don't have is the engine mount adapter, I think he picked up the 2 1/8" socket for the flywheel already. I have the flywheel stop and the book plus DVD.

My buddy in Cali still hasn't gotten back to me about my stuff, which kinda sucks but whatever. Money is money.

Do you need my 1/2" impact? Do you need my huge blue bucket to use a parts washer? Did you tell him to get the degreaser from harbor Freight? My compressor sucks but my impact is 500+ft/lb so with the right compressor it works great.

I think he used to work as a machinist and has every tool known to man but I'll hit you up if we need anything. I've been shooting PM's back and forth with him for the past few months about supplies and parts.

Yep going to do an RB street port.

Sidenote: I haven't told him my plans yet he just knows I'm going to down there to help him hahaha. I'm more excited about getting into this engine than I am about possibly getting laid tonight. I think somethings wrong with me...

I have:
every tool known to man (other than the one I will need at that particular time)
engine lift
jack stands
floor jacks
I am getting a parts washing station if harbor freight has in stock (including chemical)
files
and a broken motor
