Saw a BB with a huge spoiler tonight.... I can't say it looked good. If it's someone on here, I would politely suggest you remove it lol.

I saw a BB on bandera at a smaller dealer with just a Mazdaspeed spoiler, no appearance package, no lip, no nothing. It looked very odd.

Yeah, my goal was sort of a sleeper. I think I reached my goal and I will definitely never get beat by a Turbo beetle again

Yeah same here, and I say I don't want to put a turbo in but I'll probably change my mind later down the road lol. But like you said our cars aren't really meant for drag racing.

I would like to add a body kit though and spoiler cuz I like how it looks. I want that wide body look and I saw this 8 which looked like it had custom fenders or whatever they're called over the wheel well that made it stick out more but I couldn't find anything online or even know what to call it to search for it. I know they have the wide body kits but I also wanted to extend the part over the wheels out a little bit.

Turbo beetle? Please tell me that's a joke. My mom has the fastest stock beetle they made afaik and it wouldn't quite beat an 8 I don't think.

Widebody equals expensive (10k for the kit) and finding someone to install it properly would be nearly impossible in San Antonio.

Yep, walked me by like a car length a least. But then again my motor was on it's way out too.

Yeah, the best, most cost effective option currently is the Mazdatriz wide body setup but that is only for 2009+ RX-8's.

I think the mazdatrix kit will work on the series 1 you just need some modification. Personally I wouldn't wide body my car until it had 600whp.

Old news! The Shinari was first shown just over a year ago, actually. Still a beautiful car.

I know it's old I just wanted to put the link up. The inside looks all futuristic. I don't think it shows it on that site but I saw it on another site.

Found these earlier... definitely tempting, even to protect the stock wheels I have (and don't really like...). Seems a bit expensive, but might be worth it for those with wheels worth protecting.

Hey wow those things are kinda cool. I have never had a problem with that part of the wrench scratching my wheels though.

Protip: Wrap the end of a 21mm socket with electrical tape.

Ooooh, I like. I wrap the the socket in electrical tape too but since I am often working on different peoples cars it would be nice to have that assortment.
