And I had me some babes Friday night, so I'm not jealous. Hell, I'm still full from the monster I ate at Freebirds for lunch yesterday. Oooo, speaking of, they're building a Freebirds in my neck of the woods, WHOOP!

so up to the present situation on friday morning i had to be at work at 6:45am and the night before i got off work at 10pm, needless to say i overslept that morning and got stuck in traffic on my way to work which made me late and get my final point for termination.
good news is i have been looking for a new job for the past few weeks and i have an interview tomorrow morning with racetrac as an overnight manager so everyone wish me luck im about to go to bed so i can get a good nights rest before my interview.

So last week Steve tells me his car is making an alarming popping sound when he drives. After work we jack the car up and find that the driver side front endlink isn't fully tightened to the sway bar. We tighten that and go for a drive; it still pops. I get out and he drives into a driveway and we discover it's now coming from the passenger wheel area.
We get back to his house and get the car up in the air. I placed a jack under the brake and starting raising and lowering the whole front wheel assembly minus the wheel. We pinpoint the popping to a certain range of compression and decided to loosen the bolts on the top of the shock tower.
Once the bolts were loosened, the shock compressed and then the bolts retightened the popping stopped. My thinking was that the shock just became displaced slightly. Maybe that little plastic shim broke away?? Any ideas.
On a side note, when I was adjusting his rearview mirror it cracked the windshield....how fucked up is that ****?!
Anyway, when's the next meet?

I posted this in a different section of the forums but maybe some of y'all can help a brotha out... Ill C/P word for word what I wrote :
Just last night I was double clutching ( Clutch in > Neutral > Clutch out > Rev > Clutch In > Gear > Clutch out) from 4th to 2nd and it didnt quite feel good, I know double clutching is better but it felt like it grabbed a little and notched 2nd a tad in a bad way. I wanted to throw-up... No more double clutching for me after that, Ill just leave the clutch in while I rev-match... Im worried 2nd is going to start grinding and acting notchy like my 5th gear did before I got it replaced.
Before I got my new 5th gear it would be very grabby, not in a good way, grind a little, then go in. It was like a "mini-grind" but it'd go in.
Worst part about all of this is my Warranty expries this month (June) on the 19th... So I gotta get my baby in and tell them what happened so its documented, so if later it does start to **** itself Ill have some proof I tried to get it fixed and they didnt...
Other than the 5th gear that crapped out REALLY fast and this incident last night with 2nd (only double-clutched twice, 2nd time was to see if I messed up the 1st time) my transmisson is good. It has weird quirks ( like my 3rd gear like falling into place but it feels like its rubbing something tough and sometimes engages hard) but no grinding issues...
