New rotary owner in San Antonio...

Hey everyone,
Well, I just purchased a used RX8 from carmax yesterday, and love it to death! To be honest, this is the nicest car I've owned to date, and it is fun as hell to drive. Just looking for fellow 8 owners out there, and if ya see a guy in ACUs while driving a Red RX8, either around Ft. Sam, or Medical Dr. its probably me!

Welcome!

Let me guess, $17,995?

I looked at several RX8's at the Callaghan CarMax a couple months ago so I am familiar with their pricing.

Welcome to the club.

naw, but close... $18,499 w/ 29k miles... I took one for a test drive last weekend while buying a CX-7 for my wife from Legend Mazda (on 35S, just north of the loop), and fell in love...

sadly, I was rather up-side-down on my mazda 3 still, and I really wanted one of these... it hurts every month, but my pain is eased when I mash the pedal and start flying

Ah.....I'd seen several at Car Max but not one that high......course they were mostly 04's and '05's. Did you get manual or Auto?

Was it the white one at Legend?

If we have a GTG, you need to teach me how to do it the wrong way.

its pretty easy man... all ya gotta do, is get divorced, find yourself an OCD/****-retentive woman, and get hitched...

down side is I'm a desk slob, and leave papers I want to keep all over the place, then randomly, they all disappear....

I'd probably be up for it... might depend on area... if enough people are up for it, then I might drive a bit. I'm over by UTSA area.. how about others?

yeah, that's not too far. Anything further than downtown might be a bit much... If enough people go then I will probably.

Well there are several places up and down I-10, you got the fuddruckers in the colonade, chilis up past huebner, buffalo wild wings on dezavala, and various other places. I don't mind the drive as long as people show.
