Some asshat backed into my driver's side suicide door on Christmas Eve and didn't leave a note or anything. Probably need a new door shell. Will find out after the holidays.

Anyone know the cheapest place for me to get the Front Air Dam thingy for my 8? I just wanted that and some side skirts, not really financially set for a body kit

Was at a friends house parked along the road because the driveway was full. The person across the street backed out of there driveway, didn't even look behind herself and nailed my car..

on more serious topics, i have a general question about catalytic converters. i think mine may be partially clogged. when i run it at night and look underneath it while it's dark the sensor area glows red hot.

Partially clogged, mine does it too, but the stealership won't replace it until its completely clogged. Sucks because it just hurts the engine until then!

People who back into the driver's side suicide door don't leave notes. I'll let you know how insurance feels about it, but so far insurance feels it's worth $2,300. Those door shells are expensive.

Make sure all the fasteners are installed on your undercarriage plastic. That **** will come off during a very heavy rain when the streets are flooding. Get a bunch of fasteners after that. Alternatively, get your front bumper cover repainted and install a bra.

I've had bad car karma lately.

BUT...I did sit in an 09 R3 and loved the seats. I have been cautioned to wait until the 2010 models come out because they will have a 15b. So I'm sticking with my baby for a little bit longer. Aside from the Christmas damage and the under-plastics, I am doing fine.

 

Ugh, I was at least fortunate enough to get the girls information that hit my back door. I hope everything pans out for the best, and everything gets fixed with no money out of your pocket.. Except for the clutch that is!
