Well I got rear ended tonight on the interstate coming home. Guy in a silverado hauling a trailer hit me from behind. Smash the back of the car real good. The truck didn't have a dent on it. Poor 8 The 8 is still drivable. See if I can get the insurance guys to come out mon to check out the damage. We both have state farm. The guy was real cool about the whole thing. I got his info an everything so I'm good. It look like bout 2k worth of damage but everything should be good.

Well there it is. You can't see it but behind the bumber cover the back end of the frame is bent in. Didn't take it cuz I don't have a flasher on the phone an you wouldn't see it good.

Oh yeah I think that rp cat finally separated on the inside lol. It makes a rattling noise espacially around 3k. I really didnt like it that much anyway because i couldnt spit fire as good as the stock pipe. The exoticspeed exhaust kit is supose to be shipping out this week so i will see how it works

Quick question, guys. And I can probably research this too, but I figured I'd be lazy.

I have Nitto tires on the 8 now. I think I have gotten maybe 10k miles out of them. The car is eating tires. Someone suggested I go with Kumho ECSTA LX Platinum tires. They have a better treadwear number, but I'm not sure how well they will keep the car stuck to the road. I'd go back with the Nitto tires, but the price jumped up about $50 per tire, and it's not worth it to me.

So what tires are you guys running on your cars?

Yokohuma Avid, they seem decent, but they are the only tire I have had on my car so i have nothing to compair them to

 

i am running Kumho ecsta's in the front and the stock dunlop runflats in the back *until they are worn out*....

I have BFGoodrich G-Force KDW. Trust me they got grip. I had them bout a year with over 10k miles on them. And still have a good tread.

I'm throwing the front Nittos, which still have tread, on the back until I run them bald. I guess when I get the Kumho LXs, I'll start to compare how they feel.

Oh...and I checked the tires for the R3 with the 19" rims. Tire prices are not as bad as I thought. I'm still thinking about getting the R3. I checked out a GT with the options I wanted and the price was the same as an R3. So the price match, plus the low tire prices pretty much sealed the deal for me. Although I do wish I could hold off until the 15B comes out in 2010.
