New Austin Saturday cruise night location

So I usually don't post this type of thing but every time I go to these we don't have a lot of rotaries much less 8's there so maybe some of my Austin (and surrounding area) peeps might be interested in this, the fun starts next weekend...er...well...hopefully anyway. I won't be able to go next weekend as the car will be in a booth at HeatWave, but after that I'll probably be going every now and then.

Saturday Night Cruise-In At *TEXAS*15415 North IH-35Serv.Rd.NB @Tinsel town ROADHOUSE

Austin, Texas 78660 (www.TexasRoadhouse.com)

Beginning Saturday July 23, 2011 from 6:30pm-Dark:

*TEXAS ROADHOUSE & its management have generously agreed to allow us a place to gather with fellow car lovers on THEIR PROPERTY. As we all want this to be a permanent owner sponsored location as Cabela's in Buda, we will treat its managers, employees, customers, facilities, all other attendees & their cars with respect. The Travis County Sheriffs Dept. will patrol the area at the request of TEXAS ROADHOUSE & those attending to ensure a pleasant, trouble free event.

*The following minimal COMMON SENSE RULES or any reasonable request for good behavior will be enforced. Everyone, TEXAS ROADHOUSE managers, employees, club members or individuals at the cruise-in has the authority to ask any other participant for compliance. Violators refusing to leave the area are then trespassing; if necessary, license numbers will be phoned to the nearby sheriff's patrol car. Think ZERO TOLERANCE; no one wants to be banned. Please observe these simple rules to preserve this rare privilege, excellent location at good restaurant & a cooperative management who is glad to have us.

The Rules of Cruise Night are basic but not limited to:

*The front, sides & several rows just behind the TEXAS ROADHOUSE are areas reserved for regular restaurant customers only.

*The CRUISE-IN general area (marked if possible) is some 5+ rows DIRECTLY BEHIND & away from THE BACK of the building.

*Do not park on the right of the entry road along IH-35; Tinseltown owns it.

*Choose a spot & park so everybody & children can walk the show safely.

*Speeds in & out will be slow at all times; no burn outs ever, anywhere.

*Music & engine noise volume levels in & out will be very little, low or none.

*Friendly attitudes & respect for others are the rule; families & children attend.

*Leave absolutely nothing behind when you go; this lot is always clean.

*Have a good time, admire the cars, meet new people, and come back.

*TEXAS ROADHOUSE is a great host with a wide menu; eat, drink, enjoy !!

The following clubs & individuals share as the third party in supporting this event with TEXAS ROADHOUSE & the Travis County Sheriff's Department; new names will be added as it grows; email (TopDownBackRoads@Gmail.com):

you're joking right? so basically, nobody is allowed to act like a dumbass around everyone else's expensive (or even not so expensive) rides and you equate that to "not as much fun"? C'mon dude, we have to have some semblance of rules or all the ignorant honda/import/dumbass/etc. kids show up, do burnouts, leave their trash everywhere, start fights, play horrible music using a shitty stereo and just basically ruin the spot for everyone. I'd rather have rules then that any day of the week.

I didn't make it out last weekend as I was at the car show, hope to make it out at some point, if anyone wants to meet me out there or put together a little rx gathering let me know.

This is a permanent deal as long as nobody screws it up (like they did home depot/1431 which used to be AWESOME) The owners of the restaraunt are stoked as they doubled their intake the first weekend they did this, evidently people who spend money on cars also have money to spend on other things like food for example...who knew?
