Moving to Dallas area!!
Hello everyone.... So i'm just now getting out of the Army after 5 years.. 2 of which were spent in Combat in Iraq...... i'm just going to have to get used to civilian life again. But i just wanted to see what kinds of things go on in DFW regarding rx8's and rx7's. I don't own a 7 (yet) but i've had my 8 for about 4 years now and its been N/A then Turbo and now its back to N/A... ( yes its and 04 rx8 and i think we all know what the 04 motor is known for....but i guess the good news is that I will be starting work at my new job on the 20th of this month(May) at Rotary Performance/rx7.com in Garland... I hope to get out and about and see some of you at the meets... if i'm not to busy... and maybe a few of you will stop by the shop. <---- I HOPE. i'm going to try and get alot more 8's in the shop and alot more selection on parts offered for the 8 maybe... But i just wanted to say hello and i look forward to meeting all of you here in the very near future.

yes i know that they have idemitsu, but remember i don't start untill the 20th so the price for that i don't know yet but they will do that for you.... just call mary, ari, or chris and they will let you know how much it is.

Brian, welcome to the area. Thanks for serving and I'm glad you made it through okay. The DFW are now has two meets running on opposite weeks, so hopefully you can make it out sometime. Next week we'll be meeting at BJ's in Addison on Thursday, and the following week will be Flips in Grapevine on Tuesday. We have regular posts for these, so just keey your eyes open for them.
RP is a great place and I've got nothing but good things to say about Chris, Ari and Mary.

Yeah, I highly recommend the meets whenever you are able to come and I'm sure you'll see quite a few of us at RP, I also have nothing but fantastic things to say about them. Haha, I also have the '04 model also so at least now I have someone to vent to, I don't know anyone else with that year. Been good to me so far though, no complaints.

hey thanks for the info... i will try and make as many meets as i can... depending on work hours and how busy you guys keep me.... i won't be there untill the 19th and start on the 20th.... i know that it is not alot of time to settle in before starting work but i'm used to that being in the Army.... i hope to get alot more rx8s in the shop now that they want to make me the official "rx8 guy" and i've been talking to Kane and ppo2 performance and we might try there tuning software and see how that is going..... i'll try to get some more parts available for the rx8 and if you guys have any suggestions just let me know.... well i have to go and finish packing now so i'll check back later...

well i guess if the first day at work isn't a long day i'll be there... what time and were again? i'll write it down this time i promise.... i'll be the the only wb 8 with missouri plates
