I don't know if they will let us take pics of the actual casino, but I will take pics of the rooms. This way if you and Amber ever get a chance to go, it may help you with where you want to stay and so forth.

I know that they have been really pouring a lot of money in the river front area to attract more tourists/gamblers. They are also getting the hint that even though some families go there, they have to have something for everyone to do, other than gamble. it was looking pretty nice the last time I went. I'm really interested in seeing what they've added since then. I know that they are putting in a Bass Pro shop and a bunch of other stores on the river front, yes, including a Hooters. But I'll email the picts i take. or I can post them.

i'm hoping for a budding friendship. Long distance relationships are doomed from the very beginning. Besides, it would be wonderful to have a friend that lives close to Shreveport that I can call and maybe meet up with every once in a while and go out bar hopping. It's more fun with someone else there than just hanging out at the casino and gambling. Sometimes I go to Shreveport just to visit my grandparents gravesite and visit with my aunt that lives there. Dazy, since you'll be riding with me, would you mind stopping at the grave site on our way back? I like to clean it up from time to time, but if you don't then I'll understand. I can always do it on another trip.

 

No, you guys live too far away for all that. Friends are always good though...

Besides y'all know my situation and I would never want to involve someone else in my "issues"....

 

How about this, since we are all meeting up on Monday to have a little fun, we go ahead and make a pact that we leave all of our "issues" at home. We should treat this as a one day vacation.

How can we not have fun? Good company and the bars stay open til 5 or 6 am and the drinks flow from the casinos all night. I don't know if I've asked this, but would you two ladies like to go to Deja Vu, depending on how well/bad I do at craps?
