Then because I told the union I'd be putting 5 down I had to walk a block to BofA to get cash so the whole 20k could be wired to the dealer. Carrying 5 grand in cash down town is not how I like to get my kicks...
Hey buddy, spare any change

Oh, I also found out the purpose behind the "references". I asked what the deal was when I was filling out the paper work and they said it was to track you down in case I go missing.... Wonderful. If I had known that before hand I would have just come up with a bunch of fake crap.

WOW, glad you saw and dodged the SUV- if you can dodge an SUV, you can dodge a Tahoe...so I think you are safe from giving any vehicle Scarlet's fate. (That was supposed to be like if you can dodge a wrench you can dodge a ball...but Idk how well I did).

On a random note, cars have started being stolen from my work parking lot. Last night was a Tahoe. I left the Ranger's doors unlocked but there it was...still sitting in the lot all alone when I left work.

I'm sure they saw the tires and said "we don't want that, that CANT be safe to drive"

Or maybe they saw the Ford emblem. And the Ranger badge. It's a tossup really. Fml.

So everything is starting to look good.
They are fedexing the paperwork and it should be here tomorrow (Credit union called them with drafting instructions)
I fedex it back on Friday

The dealer said that they will try to have it on the truck Saturday, but that it may take up to a week. So here's hoping that she's here late Saturday! (A man can Hope!)

I'm glad it's all coming together.
Maybe you can just babysit Ryan's car while he's in Africa or some ****....if you need to relive the 6-spd days.

So in keeping with the spirit of Japanese based names (since she is a Japanese car) I think I'm going to name her Fumiyo, which means "Well read generation".

Its not a GT, the GT has a navi system and auto AC controls etc. Its a touring (the last year they had a touring)

The car had to meet this criteria: (in order of importance to me, though it had to have it all)

1. Grey
2. Cloth Seats
3. Moon Roof (and bose speakers) part of the "premium package" on a touring
4. Spoiler
5. Auto
