Lee at JR's Custom Auto in Irving does great work.

I don't know his last name, but for about 2 months Lee was down in Houston. During that time (before going to JR's) he spent 5 days working on my car and did a great job:

He did 95% of what is mentioned in the Phase One first post. The work he did behind the doors to make the 8" sealed enclosure and 4" Focal mount was pure genius (sorry, that I don't have pics of that stuff)

The Phase Two IPOD portion and the Phase One sub-enclosure (4080 box) was done here in Houston by Nick Johnson.

I thought I would give you the heads-up. The DFW area has one damn good installer available. I wish he could have stayed in Houston.

Ps. One warning: JR's ain't cheap but they should know the RX-8 inside and out by this point.

I like what he did with your ashtray lid.

If he could fabricate one in piano black to hold my boost gauge and defi control unit, and basic flip switch for a future mod (NO IT'S NOT NOS)... i'd definetely be interested.

EDIT: Here is a pic of their current location and size. Should be enough space in the ashtray lid for it. https://www.rx8club.com/attachment.p...chmentid=62840

Do you have the street address or phone number for him?

Lee should be at http://www.jrscustomauto.com/

However, he didn't do the ashtray lid. Phase Two (the second post in that thread) was all done by Nick Johnson who is still here in Houston.

The ashtray lid was probably the easiest of all the work. It was just a plunge router done with a steady hand I guess .

There are a few real nice installers at JRs. Shoot they have a ton of bad *** installs on all sorts of vehicles they have done. Check out the H2 JR himself owns! IT is bad ***!
